Kids were drafted, more drafted today
Looks to me like we drafted Brent Suter and Josh Hader.

They pounded 3 lefties. Good for them. Small seems like a guy who can literally step right in and play tomorrow.
Anybody know how soon these guys can play? Just curious.
you will have to wait
But, Bongers, we need him like, yesterday...
1st rounder Ethan Small revealed how he had 160 Ks: βIβm only 6-3 but my arms could sit on a 6-6 dude. I have extremely long arms and really big hands. My extension on my fastball is about a foot closer than most peopleβs. So my 93 (mph) is looking more like 95-96."
God knows he pitching last night left A LOT to be desired. That was brutal to listen to.
If you'd like to watch the #Brewers first round pick Ethan Small pitch, he'll be facing Stanford in the super regional at 2 PM on Saturday on ESPN2.

Underslot, which is nice since the Crew didn't have much of a pool to work with
1st-rder Ethan Small signs with @Brewers for $1.8 mil (pick 28 value = $2,493,900). Mississippi State redshirt junior LHP, SEC pitcher of year, unhittable 86-92 mph fastball, VG feel for changeup. @MLBDraft

RIGHT ON!!!!! Thanks, Bongers!!!! Great news. Hopefully, they call him up tomorrow...
I was getting a little worried about that one when we hadn't heard anything. He is a lights-out pitcher. Hopefully, his stuff holds up at the MLB level, but, I think it will. He's a lot like Hader in how deceptive he is, nearly unreadable for most hitters. Love the pick.
The kid has pitched a ton already, I suspect we don't see him pitch that many innings at all, much less at the big league level.
Some pool savings here. The Brewers anticipate signing all of their picks in the top 10 rounds, Iβm told. https://t.co/C362X8R7Ss
