Starting in 2023 all MLB teams will play every other MLB team. The linked article explains it well. I always thought the magic of the World Series was to see how each team played against each other being they didn't play in the regular season. Interleague play took that away. This new schedule will take it away even more. Not sure I like it.

I like not playing the teams in your division as much. 19 times a year is overkill. Agreed on not liking all the extra inter league as much.
I saw in the article that the Cubs and Cards are playing in London? I just don't see why sports leagues are so desperate to play games in London.
And the cubs and Brewers open in chitcago again, in April....Brilliant

I get the NBA trying to move into Europe because I think there will eventually be a true international league (outside of Toronto) that includes some teams in a division or conference there (or at least a playoff against the EuroLeague title team). The basketball talent in Europe is obviously strong.
MLB? That's a long shot. Nobody there really knows the rules outside of a few ex-pats.

That is pretty dumb. Leverage your domes and warm weather cities early in the year.
