Was looking into getting MLB.TV this year so I can watch Brewer games on the phone/tablet.  Found out I'm under both the Twins and Brewers blackout zones.

I live 300 miles from Milwaukee! (30 miles from the Twin Cities)  How exactly can I be in the Brewers "Home Team" area?! And how can you live in two teams zones?  I thought it was only one.

Also, if you are paying for said service, wouldn't all "blackout" restrictions be null and void?

I emailed support and got a regurgitation of the policy.  I understand the policy, it just doesn't make any sense.

When I used to get Sunday Ticket, we could watch Packer games and were not in the Packers "Home Territory".

One would think if MLB wanted to make money, they simply let you pay to watch the games online.  This whole blackout thing makes no sense in 2017.

My satellite provider thinks I live in a totally different area code, primarily so I can watch Packer and Brewer games.

There must be a lie you can pull off with MLB.TV.  I'm sure, like my satellite provider, that they would love to give you service but cannot contractually because some local station only wants you watching over the air.

Yeah, they suck. I've had it for years for my laptop because I travel in Florida/Georgia/South Carolina. I often get "blacked-out" from seeing Brewers at Marlins because I'm in the Marlins market---300 miles away in Jax. When I'm in Georgia, I get screwed when the Crew plays the Braves.

Some might say I'm screwed for spending $115 on the Brewers.
