It looks like they should have all their horses in 2 weeks. I was surprised they didn't activate Tori Gurley yesterday, I have heard nothing but good things from him, and feel lucky nobody has plucked him from the PC.

I see Atlanta coming to Green Bay in 2 weeks. Abraham and Jones will play, unlike our first meeting. Must find ways to get to Ryan

I think Grant looks so much better than he did early on. I want them to keep using their backs in the offense.

Depending on the weather, field position may be huge. Cobb/Weems

Saints, Giants, Falcons, Niners, Lions. That's my fear index, in that order.

I think we match up VERY well with the Niners. I think Rodgers embarrasses them in the NFCC if it comes to that. Lions have a lot of talent but they don't have the composure to perform adequately in the playoffs, IMO. Saints, Giants, and Falcons are all well coached teams that do have the offensive capability to keep up with the Packers. Saints especially moreso than Giants and Falcons. Obviously Giants pass rush ability is a concern as well.
I don't believe the Saints fear the Packers at all. Why should they? Because they lost the first game of the season? If anything, I think they'd be chomping at the bit to get to play them again.

I'm also not so certain the Giants would fear playing the Packers in Lambeau. They're a veteran team, veteran QB, playmakers on both sides of the ball, scrutiny of the biggest media market in the world every week, outdoor, running team and has/can play in cold climate. Oh, and they won at Lambeau in the playoffs with mostly the same team just a few years ago.

9:12 Anticipate having everybody back for the playoff game. Intent was give Bulaga and Jennings extra week. Hopeful everybody will practice Wednesday. Only question mark is Starks.

9:14 Has looked back at 2007 to review how he handled the practice week. Have the option of practicing outside, which he didn't have four years ago because Nitschke Field was not heated.

9:15 Rodgers did a nice job as a play-caller. Nice to get him in a rhythm.

9:15 Thinking about it last Monday when watching game tape and thought I'm going to have Aaron call this game. Talked about it during the week and it served his purpose.

Monday January 2, 2012 9:15
9:16 Thought all along was he wouldn't play.

Monday January 2, 2012 9:16
9:17 Doesn't want to get into how Rodgers did the play-calling. Thought his quarterbacks talked a little bit too much about it yesterday.

Monday January 2, 2012 9:17
9:17 Happy with offense last two games without Jennings.

9:18 Goal was to play Cliftn 25 plays. Exactly what wanted to do. I think he's going to be happy with film,. Things he needs to work with. You can see the injury. Things he needs to work on. With two weeks, I think he'll be where he needs to be.

9:18 At ROLB, roliing players in. Needs to sort itself out. You practice and grade tape. Evaluation of game tape will play a big part.

Vic So'oto is definitely part of the conversation. But special teams plays into the equation.

Monday January 2, 2012 9:19

9:19 Chad Clifton will be the starter. Marshall has done a good job. There will be no gray area for that. But he has a little more work to do. Encouraged with the progress he's made. Chad Clifton is a damn good player.

9:21 Don't like the yards that were given up, but have kept team out of the end zone.

9:21 Pat Lee play was clearly a safety, but he thought official gave him the go-ahead for a touchback.

2nd-3, GB43 2:00 M. Flynn incomplete pass to the right
3rd-3, GB43 1:56 Detroit committed 5 yard penalty
1st-10, GB48 1:56 M. Flynn incomplete pass down the middle
2nd-10, GB48 1:52 M. Flynn passed to J. Nelson down the middle for 6 yard gain
3rd-4, DET46 1:25 M. Flynn passed to J. Jones to the right for 40 yard gain
1st-6, DET6 1:19 J. Kuhn rushed to the right for 2 yard gain
2nd-4, DET4 1:10 M. Flynn passed to J. Finley to the right for 4 yard touchdown. M. Crosby made PAT

I wonder if AR called that play. That's right out of the book of MM. Third and short and a deep sideline pass play called.

But it worked!!

Yeah, it's a regular cakewalk. No team should "fear" any other team in the playoffs or they shouldn't be there. That said logically looking at the matchups I'm pretty sure both the Saints and Giants see quite a challenge coming to Lambeau in January.
