This is a contest between the biggest NT in the league and the smallest C. Vita Vea is giving Kelce all kinds of trouble. They are constantly double teaming him.
$5 richer!
Devonte Smith is good, but Hurts is bird dogging him.
Philly melting down fast now.
Living here in MI, I'm enjoying trolling my loins fan buddies by texting them about how easy it will be to beat Tampa. Like to get in their heads.
4th and 5 after taking the points off the board, and you throw deep instead of letting Hurts run or scheming a short pass?
Eagles players are booking getaway flights during the second half. 10-1 to 11-7 in two months.
Not sure what happened with Hurts, but he does not look like a popular teammate right now. Hurts just signed a 5 year, 255 million dollar contract with 180 million guaranteed in April. His dead cap figures for the next 4 years are 104, 91, 69, and 44 million.

Never take pts off the board, esp on the road. There were 12 min left and you cut it to 13. Sirianni thinks he knows better than everyone. I'm glad their asses are done.
Sirianni deserves to be fired. This team has been utterly lost for the past two months. How can you justify bringing him back? I think the players checked out weeks ago.
sirianni is a royal douche bag and i love seeing them get beat.
Matt Patricia. LOL
He was all due to Belichek, that is all he was or ever will be.
With Packers, Bucs and Lions as the NFC field, the niners are massive favorites for the Super Bowl
Dagger. I'm calling it. TB physical and playing well. Somehow, Mayfield has resurrected his career. He will have more trouble against a really good D, but the TB D is pretty good and the WRs are really good.

Maybe if it was 4th and 1, but not 4th and 5.
On November 26th, the Eagles just finished a 3 game stretch where they beat the Chiefs, Cowboys, and Bills. They were 10-1 and 26-5 since the start of the 2022 season.
Then on December 3rd, they were up 6-0 after the first quarter of the Niners game and the Niners had -6 yards. Then the Niners hung 42 on them in 3 quarters and they were never the same.

The Packers have the best QB left in the NFC.
A 7th round pick, and two guys that their original teams got rid of.
And Jordan Love.

Chiefs at Bills next Sunday will be Patrick Mahomes’ first-ever road playoff game. All of Mahomes’ 15 career playoff games have been played in Kansas City or in a Super Bowl. pic.twitter.com/mXOmLSkwej

What could go wrong?!?! 🤔🤷♂️
Bucs at Lions. Neither one is beating the Packers.

Those ANALytics are soooo right....soooo many times.
I would've never taken the points off the board, especially when you had THAT play called for 4th & 5.

I hope the stuff Mahomes in a snow bank head first and all you can see are his feet wiggling.
I don't follow the Eagles so WTF happened in Philly this year? 10-1 and then you keep losing and then the parts of the game I saw tonight it looked like guys didn't even want to be there when the game was still up for grabs?
How the hell does a team just basically give up after starting 10-1?

They got old, tired and stale in a hurry. 20 games a year ago. Tonight was game 18 this season. Hurts banged up all year. Defense collapsed. Even with AJ Brown all year they regressed to the point where no one was fearing them. As much as I hate the franchise, I will give their douche fanbase credit for seeing what was happening. Many Eagle fans knew they were cooked weeks ago. Not a ton of shock over this in the Philly region.

The Niners.....they had a good 1st quarter against the Niners and ever since then.....it's like the Niners stole their soul. It's weird. From the 2nd quarter of that game on, they've been terrible. 🤭👇🏼

They have a look of a team that has "team attitude" problems. Team chemistry is a huge factor in success, but it is a variable that the coaching staff has the least amount of control of. You get a few guys who are unhappy about something and it can spread like a cancer.

This. For the last 2 months on sports talk radio speculation is that something is going on internally, but no one can identify it. Then there’s also the issue of Jeff Laurie and Howie Roseman’s control over hiring of staff - ie. forcing the DC change, etc. finally there’s the question if Siriani has maxed out - doesn’t know how to change or adapt.
I liked watching the eagles while they were on top, good team to watch. they have a great roster with a bunch of names that are still good players. i put it back to when they beat the chiefs, that coach mouthing off to fans? and trash talking fans in KC? come on man...karma is a bitch.

I can’t stand that guy. Saw a clip of him reaming one of his assistant coaches in front of some players and other coaches. He was really disrespectful. Arrogant POS.
I absolutely hated the Eagles the past couple years and am happy they collapsed. It’s crazy that it happened though. On paper they look absolutely loaded and yet they didn’t even make the divisional round.
They still had like 9 offensive starters remaining from the team that ran for over 300 yards vs the Packers last year. I guess losing the offensive and defensive coordinators from 2022 was a bigger loss than anyone expected.

Obviously the Pack has bigger worries right now than these 2 teams. That said, Tampa looks very impressive right now. At the time the Pack lost to them, it seemed like a really bad loss but they appear to be way better than we thought at the time.
Chris Godwin is probably the most underrated WR in the NFL. Heck, I think Tampa could have had a shot at repeating as Super Bowl champs if he would have been healthy for the 2021 playoffs. He’s not quite as good now as he was pre 2021 injury but he’s still really good as a complementary player to Mike Evans.
I think Sirianni's schtik with the players ran out. And I think the same will happen with Dan Campbell. 2 peas in a pod.
Mayfield should have had 2 picks just in the 3 drives I watched.

I wonder if it's the QB getting paid big bucks. Specifically, a QB that is not at the Mahomes/Allen level, but is getting paid like it. That's the trap a lot of teams fall into, since when you get a good QB you have to pay to keep them, but the "good" QBs get paid the same as Mahomes does. It happens in the NBA all the time when a very good player ends up getting a max salary instead of that just being limited to LeBron/Giannis/Embiid/Tatum types.
Age and jealousy about money (and percentage of the salary cap) are what often derail teams. Even the 2010 Packers had that problem. No one could realistically see Rodgers play from 2010-2017 (in practice or in games) and think he wasn't a top 10 QB all-time. But Rodgers eventually got paid huge money, and guys like Greg Jennings got pissed because they perceived it reduced their cut. The Russell Wilson Seahawks were the best example. Wilson was a good, but not transcendent, QB who was good enough to win with, but it was the defense that made that team. Then they have to pay Wilson huge money when his contract was up and move on from Sherman, Thomas, Chancellor, etc. a year or two early to afford Wilson's money. Again, Wilson is not at the level of prime Rodgers/Mahomes/Josh Allen.
Hurts had a really good year in 2022. Maybe I am biased, but I never saw him play anywhere (Alabama, Oklahoma, or Philly) and thought that he was a future NFL Hall of Famer. For his career, he now has 67 TDs and 34 interceptions in 62 games. He's a poor man's Russell Wilson, but he gets paid like Patrick Mahomes. Does that cause some tension in the locker room eventually?
We'll see how the Packers handle Jordan Love's contract, but he is making throws right now that guys like Hurts, Mayfield, Purdy, Goff, and those types simply can't make.
The window is now.
@DH13 posted:The window is now.
Yes. Because Jordan Love is about to get PAID.
That's the one downside of the Packers approach of letting a young QB sit and learn for several years. You lose out on a couple of years when your starting QB has some experience and is still making 10-12 million a year instead of 45-50.

Wanna know who was really good at keeping "team chemistry"? Tom Brady....who always took less money to help out the TEAM.
Let's see how Love handles his first payday
Shit. I thought you would say Aaron Rodgers.
I love watching the Manning Brothers take on these games (go ahead and mock me) and they had alleged murderer Ray Lewis on last night and he was beside himself with the way the Eagles were playing defense, saying they were doing things like taking bad angles that are beat out of you in Pop Warner football. He also said they were playing as individuals instead of as teammates and I thought he was so angry at what he was seeing that he was going to stroke out.
By the way, Bruce Arians was on and he straightened everyone out that he invented the "Omaha" call that Payton made famous....
Interesting discussion of the problems in Philly.
