The way I understand it is the game this week isn’t as important as next week v the Bears.

If Seattle and GB end up 12-4 but the Packers 4th loss is to Chicago that would leave both teams at 9-3 within the conference.  Is the next tie breaker then common opponents?   If so, then I believe Seattle is 5-0 and GB is 4-1 against common opponents.

Obviously the best thing would be for GB to win this week and Seattle to lose to the Rams then it’s a moot point.  Or simply beat Chicago next week.

There is a chance that McCarthy and the Cowboys could win their division and be the 4 seed at 7-9.

Im hoping for it to happen and for them to then beat the top wild card, Tampa Bay, setting up McCarthy vs MLF in the playoffs.

You and every buffet in town.

What if NO also ends up at 12-4 (ie. a three-way tie)?

If that happens -- it's a weird tie-breaker scenario -- where the SAINTS actually win the #1 seed.

I posted in the other thread....2 ways the Packers get #1

  1. BEAT. THE. BEARS!
  2. SF beats Seattle

That's it....that's the list

Man, that would be epic.

If the Packers lose and both the Seahawks and New Orleans Saints win, the Packers will be the No. 3 seed.

If the Packers and Saints both lose and the Seahawks win, the Packers will be the No. 2 seed.

Possible first-round opponents for the Packers if they fail to get the No. 1 seed are the Bears, Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

I think, IF, DAL loses to the Giants and WAS loses to the Eagles, the Giants are the 4th seed at 6-10. I really, really, really want that to happen... so we can watch Brady freeze/lose in Jersey.
