Agreed with the OP that the most challenging and the most important match-up for the Packers is to stop the Pittsburgh pass rush - which starts with those OLB's.

If Rodgers has time, it's game over right there. If Rodgers is getting crushed, then I'll be somewhat worried.

As for the game in general, I feel that if both teams play a perfect game, the Packers have a bit more speed and skill and will come out on top. If it's an ugly, gritty, grind it out game, IMO that favors the Steelers.

Over the past 24 hours, I've been having visions of the Packers creating massive game-changing plays on both offense and defense. I know how rare these are, especially in Super Bowls, but I sure hope a couple of them come true. Smiler
Last night I watchehe NFL Replay of Steelers-Jets playoff game.

A couple observations:

--Mendenhall is a BEAST! More than once, Jets had him behind the line of scrimmage and he escaped for positive yardage. As a receiver, he was productive. Hope Dom has that part figured out.

--Big Ben should've had FIVE INTs. Missed open guys too. Not an accurate passer. Hope we hope on to the errant passes unlike the Jets.

--First time I can remember we're playing a team with worse special teams than us. Hope Shields is reutrning kickofss. He might take it to the house...

--Misdirection can fool those Steeler rushers. Hope MM is on the top of his game play calling...

--Admire Tomlin for PLAYING TO WIN at the end! Gutsy play calling to make sure Sanchez didn't get the ball back.

This will not be a close game if Pit O-line can not handle the Packers front 7.
It seems everyone is ignoring this except the Steelers, I think they are very worried. That why they were playing head games with thier center all week.
