I wasn't aware that anyone thought that Lang was very good to start with, so I don't see how he can be one of the "most overrated", perhaps one of the "worst starting olineman", but not overrated.

Absolutely Jody, the most overrated player will always be the media darlings.  Guys who the media do not consider to be good players are more likely to be underrated.

I think Wilson is the most overrated player in the league, teams will contain him and he will have a devil of a time throwing out of the well he will be in. We have seen these short mobile QB’s before  at first they are successful because of their novelty. One team’s figure them out their effectiveness quickly fades.

I'm not sure that Lang is overrated.  We had a pretty bad line last year.  I think he was scrambling to help Saturday have the time.

As for Wilson, I totally disagree.  I think the guy is the real deal.  He sure picked apart our first team defense last night, even if they were playing a vanilla defense.  I think Wilson has a long and successful career in the league, barring injuries of course.

I can understand not liking the Seahawks.  Thinking of the Fail Mary just gets my blood boiling.  But RW has talent, and I don't see how you can deny it.

RW, in the first half last night. Seattle scored 3 points against GB starting defense. GB forced 2 turnovers and sacked Wilson twice.

How does this constitute picking our defense apart?

Maybe the first drive, but after that GB D dominated Wilson!  Made me happy!

TJ Lang has a bad average year and a bad preseason game after a fantastic 2011 and all the sudden he's one of the most overrated players in the NFL....

Wilson had 126 yards and 2 picks and was playing subs for half of the time he was in. The defense looked really good last night, IMO.

Still, I think Wilson is the real deal. Unlike most of the other zone read QB's, Wilson can throw downfield and throw well. His accuracy % for passes more than 25 yards downfield was 2nd in the league last year. Rodgers was 1st.

Only play on the opening drive that really bothered me was Wilson scrambling for something like 15 yards when GB's rush let a couple lanes open up. Reminded me of Kaep's 1st TD run in the playoffs last year. Wilson had a couple really nice throws to move the chains.

Exactly. In the first series Wilson had the hot read correct & hit the mis-match in the seam. He was accurate with his throws & his guys made plays to move the sticks. The defense wasn't that bad & they did hold them to 3 points. I did notice Wilson was really looking to get the ball out quickly to avoid a hit though. He was definitely wide-eyed but that's about all I can say negative toward Wilson. Like them or not, Seattle is a good team & will be in the mix come December because of their defense.

Believe me....if Carroll had the opportunity to run up the score he would have just like last week vs. Denver. Once Green Bay has it's full compliment of starters on "D", I have no issues with the way Dom ran the defense. Walden isn't on the edge anymore, Nick Perry is with CM3 on the other side & it's a noticeable improvement with Datone & Jolly in the middle.

The Packer defense is going to make noise this season if we can stay healthy.

TJ Lang overrated?? Who is touting him as an All-pro? He's a solid yet unspectacular RG in the league. That's about all. There are plenty more overrated players in the league

RW with a 47 QB rating last night. On the Brad Jones sack, that came against 6! OL for the Hawks. Wilson was pressured plenty. Hell even the DE's like Miller got in on the action.

Indeed if GB can stay healthy, you have to like this DL. They are much more physical, faster and are playing pissed off. Guys like Jolly aren't taking any shi* either.
