Yah, these guys sure look like they don't want to play for Gard. And if they can't keep up this level of play the nattering nabobbs of negativity will be out in force. Up by 14 with 3 minutes to go in 1st half.

Gotta admit, none of us saw this coming.
Maybe the sign of a pretty good coach?
Less is more?
Talent difference is starting to take over.
What ???? a basketball game actually being played at high noon on a Saturday.
wooooo hoooooooo turnover MSU
10 point BADGER lead 48 - 38
11-0 MSU run
There must be a lid on the Badger basket
Last 6 minutes.
10 possessions
0-9 from the floor with 1 turnover.
Anderson stops the bleeding.
1 for 13 from the floor with 2 turnovers over the last 8 minutes.
Down to a 3 point lead.
Badgers' emotion only got them so far. MSU is a good defense, but at least half the shots in this stretch have been decent looks.
Pritzl with a Halem Globetrotteresque drive
Why don't you post when the Badgers are doing good? Weathered the MSU storm and are back up by 10.
don't you just love watching Izzu go nuts on the sideline ????
Badgers 60 - 49 8 minutes to go
Aleem Ford shooing with confidence. Good to see.

I post a lot in many games, I was just out for the first half.
I was commenting that Gard has done a good job in this game. They got good looks during the drought, they just didn't hit shots.
That last possession where Reuvers had to shoot a contested long 3 was an awful one. The first poor one in a while that didn't get a decent look. Let's see what Gard does in timeout to adjust to the trapping of Trice that MSU did to disrupt that.
The Badger wings have had P&R opportunities with the big diving to the basket about 10 times in this half and havenât delivered a single pass to the open man.

Did that time, but it was to Pritzl who can't get off a good shot against the big guys.
Feed the post damnit! Itâs there!
Just can't get off a decent shot right now. Part of it is that the MSU defense is good

Reuvers vs. Tillman? Tillman's a NBA-level defensive player.
Reuvers has to be frustrated- he wanted the ball there- Trice would rather shoot a contested 3.

Yes... the rotations then create the space. The swing is a post up offense. The down screens woth the post ups is how you generate better looks in this offense.
I don't understand why Micah Potter is on the bench right now. Tyler Wahl is not a threat on the offensive end.
They called timeout for Trice to dribble for 15 seconds and throw up a contested hook shot at the clock? WTF?
Too much Trice....move the freakin ball
I don't get what Izzo is doing either. Trice is the only ballhandler they have right now. I'd trap him immediately and make Pritzl bring the ball up.
I need a deeeeeeeeeeeeeeep breath 12 seconds left
Badgers up 62- 57
I guess that's why Wahl is in. That was a great contest on the 3.
MSU - 0 FGs in 7:16. Some of that has to be Bucky defense.
Who needs Kobe King eh??
Terrible inbound set there. No timeouts left though.
Why is the freshman taking the ball out?
ITS OVER, F' UM BUCKY
Badgers 64
MSU 63
The Badgers have an awful lot of blown layups to thank for todayâs win. Gard finally gets a win versus Izzo... I remember when Bo owned Izzo. Miss those days...
So similar to the Iowa game. Guys are gassed down the stretch. They play so hard on D that the shots don't fall when on O. Just don't have the depth now to play good down the stretch. But a win is a win.
Just saw they didn't make a FG over the final 7:28.
Definitely a gut-check win after the week the team had.
Maybe Kobe King will comment on Instagram?
This game (just the fact at how hard they played, not whether they won or lost) says a lot about how the rest of the team feels about King and Gard.
The worst part about King was the fact that he felt he had to do an interview after he announced he was transferring to claim that other players felt the same way he did (and insinuated they wanted out, too). Maybe he just couldn't take the situation anymore. I would still think it was wrong for him to do, but at least you could say you have to do what you need to do if you are having problems from a mental health standpoint (and who knows what's really happening with him personally).
But saying that other guys hate the coach and the playing style while your teammates are still playing is a real POS move.
Potter has two assists this season, not great on defensive rotations. That is why you don't see him in crunch time. Needle points up for the kid, but I get the decision to have the freshman out there.
Best player in Wi hx has thoughts on the win
Anyone can lead a team when itâs easy. You find out a lot about a leader when things are hard. Canât give Coach Gard enough credit for constantly battling through what heâs had to deal with this year. And very proud of @BadgerMBB for rallying together today. #OnWisconsin
