Just think, 5 months ago there was hope that the Badgers would be playing tonight.

Bucky could NEVER hold up against either of these two teams....and I hate that I even said that.

Not a fan of either team but pulling for the underdog.  Not sure how recovered Tagovailoa is from his injury.   Clemson freshman QB outplaying him.   Alabama as a team looks out of sorts.

Yes, Lawrence is the best QB and will be a top-3 pick two years from now.

I stand by my call to trade up to get him. I have no doubt the bandwagon franchise will try to do the same because that's when the Cousins failed experiment ends. I have no interest in seeing that 6'6 monster in Prince clothing for 12 seasons.

That dude ain't top 3.  He's #1 hands down.

I agree, but it's always tough to gauge what is going #1 two drafts from now. If the next great edge rusher was around, or a beast of a running back, he could slide to #3 easily.

Alabama is winning this game in every category except for the 2 that matter. Scoreboard & turnovers.

No team will take a RB over that QB. Not even if it was Jim Brown or Walter Payton.

Jesus Lawrence doesn't make it in the NFL.  Mark it down.

What tools does the 19-year-old lack?

His wind up is bigger than Nomo's, his footwork sucks, and he stares down receivers.

Good start?

As long as he's staring at them as they score 65 yard touchdowns, it's not an issue.

I mean, the kid just got his first pube a few years ago. I think we can cut him a little slack on "footwork" and "wind up" as he destroys Alabama's defense and puts up insane numbers.

Pocket awareness sucks, runs too early and is going to get killed, relies on arm strength that doesn't, in fact, exist.

I think you belong in the Vikings Suck thread whose "those people."

I'll let you know when I give a **** what you think.

Lawrence is good, but Ross is dominant. He looks like Randy Moss out there. The Bama DBs, many of which will play in the NFL, can't defend him.

Also, let's look at the Clemson OL that are stifling the pass rush.
