My name has just come up on the list for the Green Package (been on since 1978) and I'm trying to decide whether to purchase 2 or 4 season tickets. Unfortunately, I now live in Virginia and it is going to be tough for me to get to GB more than once a year at this point in my life--I hope that will change later! My preference is to purchase 4 tickets, but if I do that I want to know that I can make up the $2100 per seat district user fee eventually by selling the tickets through NFL Ticket Exchange or to Packers Fan Tours. I don't have time to invest in trying to sell tickets myself and would prefer to go the officially sanctioned route. My seats would be corner end zone and mid 40s row. Are season ticket holders getting stuck with unsold seats at all? I also would like to hear whether it is much easier to improve seating in later years by getting only 2 rather than 4 tickets and whether others would recommend buying a parking pass. I would appreciate advice on any/all of these issues. I have to make decisions within a week in order to pay the district user fee by the deadline.

With you being out of state it will be more difficult to sell tix, unless you use a broker or still have lots of relatives/friends in WI who will buy them. But do you want to jack up the cost on tix to friends/relatives?

With a broker you dont know who is going to end up in your seats, they could be fans for the opposing team, is that what you want to possibly happen? Plus, if you dont know who is getting your tix your more vulnerable to some jerks getting them and getting in trouble at the stadium, putting your season tix in jeapordy. All it takes as I understand it is two major incidents and you lose your tix, for things like peeing in the bathroom sinks, smoking in the concourse, fighting, being too drunk and causing a scene etc, etc. Each game a number of people get tossed or arrested.

From my experience having 2 season tix, and I also only attend usually 1 game a year, I only sell at face value to relatives and friends, people I know that wont cause any trouble at the game. Plus I know they will be loudly cheering on the Pack instead of the opposition.

The hardest tix to sell are always the preseason game, good luck even getting face value for them. In my case I usually package the preseason game with the buyers first choice of the regular season game he wants to go to. After that then other relatives/friends get to take whats left after I decide what game I'm going to. IOW, buy the preseason tix and you get 1st choice of any regular season game you want.

Other harder to sell games are late season games right near or on a xmas holiday, and Monday or Thursday night games, because lots of folks wont or cant attend due to work or other family obligations. But they can still be sold, it just takes a bit more rooting around to find the right person.

Cant remember which broker but there is one or two that will guarantee if the tix holder gets in trouble it wont reflect back on you. But I think in that case the tix are sold at face value, could be wrong on that though. There will be info on that/those options when you get your tix and other stuff in the mail from the Packers.

Hope that helps, again as to me, I dont care about recouping the cost of the PSL, its an investment I'll get back (or my heirs) after I'm no longer around or decide to sell out. In the meantime I get to go to some games and spread the wealth amongst family/friends at face value to help keep good will and insure only Pack fans use my tix.

Thank you everyone. I went 4 tickets. I will have to sell my tickets most of the time unfortunately. Live too far from GB and often work on weekends.

I wish I didn't have to worry about the behavior of the people that buy them. However, I will put my tickets at risk if I sell to anyone. Therefore, unless it is someone I know well,I'm selling via the Packers endorsed routes of NFL Ticket Exchange and Packers Fan Tours. Unfortunately, that may mean that opponents' fans might buy them too. Would appreciate any other ideas anyone has to offer to keep that from happening.
