It was like Micah Hyde playing CB waiting for 2017 haha to come over & help.

Kudos to Saban for swapping QB's. Georgia defense not blitzing on 2 & 26 or at least covering WRs doing fly patterns just brutal.

Fromm reminded me a lot of former Badger QB Joel Stave. He could throw a bomb for a 40 yard reception and then throw the ball in the dirt, at the WR's ankles, seemingly, the next time he passed the ball. He would get fixated on his target only to get sacked by a pass rusher he had no idea was there. Sony Michel and the Ridley kid saved his ass more than a few times.

Some pretty good bowl games to end the season.  After thinking all year that the Badgers were a step or so below the top 5 or 6 teams I now think they could have played with them all.  Maybe not as winners but I do think they would have been more than competitive.

To bad for Georgia...one of my top 5.

The morning after...

What a comeback.

What a finish.

What a game.

Tua...legend.

Gotta give credit to Saban for making the switch at halftime.  He did what many people believe McCarthy wanted to do in the NFCC against the Giants.  But then again, benching Hurts is a bit easier than benching Favre.

As a freshman, can you imagine having Saban coming up to you during halftime of the NC and telling you that you're starting the 2nd half?  And then going out there to lead a comeback... and then throwing that dart to win it in OT?

That kid has ice water running through his veins.

It is sometimes better to not know what you don't know.  Baby Russ was also helped by GA not having any game tape on him or AL's offense with any kind of passing success shown.  Despite that, still took a very impressive performance to do what he did.  Will be really interesting to see how he develops as defenses start gameplanning for him.

What got me was the play early in the second half when at least a half dozen GA players had a chance to sack him and they could NOT bring him down and he ran off to the left and gained a lot of positive yardage. Wow.

Fromm was an Alabama commit and then backed out late to go to Georgia.  Tua Tagovalioa had been recruited by USC for several years and was heavily favored to go there... until Saban swooped in and snatched his ass up.  Ironically, Tagovalioa beats Fromm in the battle of freshmans on the biggest stage in college football.

What if that is the peak of his career?

Ask Vince Young.

I don't know.  He was just as impressive in the orange if not more - minus the mobility.  He looked like a pretty good sunday QB in that game.  I at times forgot I was watching the Badgers.  Receivers bailed him out on some throws with silly catches but AR has benefited from that at times too.  Just get it in a guy's catch radius.

Oh, you should see our local TV coverage. "...is there a 'curse' on Atlanta's professional sports teams?" ..."Has it seeped into Athens?"

I've never had anything in particular against the Falcons, or UGA for that matter, but the "fans" down here are a whole 'nother story. It's so bad, I always root against them both just for that reason.
If the Vikes have the biggest load of bandwagon fans, Atlanta can't be far behind.
