Bucks up 6. Giannis absolutely eats up Durant - blocks his shot - right to Irving for 3.
And then Holiday misses two FTs. A complete choke.
Are you fukking kidding me? Bucks up 3 with 29 seconds and 24 seconds on the shot clock. Middleton dribbles at the top, ends up almost getting picked clean, and ends up having to shoot a 35 footer.
Nets ball with a chance to tie.
Just terrible execution
I liked the group out at the end. No Lopez and Tucker was in. Didn’t cate for the Middleton shot but hey they closed it out for a change defensively.

I really, really wish Middleton would stop this. Giannis too. This is not your game. Stop pretending you’re a “break my man down at the end of games” guy and give the ball to the one guy who can... Holiday. High P&R with Giannis, Work off how they play it. They go under, Holiday shoots. They fight through the screen, Giannis dives. If they bring help on either, force them to do it with Middleton’s man on that side of the floor, and he’s wide open catch and shoot. They overplay anything send Giannis to the rim with a lob.

Jim Irwin was always on the radio. At one point he was going Bucks, Packers, Badgers basketball, and Badgers football. It was either Bob Uecker or Irwin almost every night.
Yup... loved Jim- a WI staple. I remember Earl Gillespie for Badger football.
I loved Jim Irwin....and when Max McGee was his side kick, it was MIST LISTEN RADIO. LOVED THEM BOTH SO MUCH.......now love Matt LePay almost as much.

He was upset but then they signed his brother for 4 million guaranteed and that made up for it.
That was a stupid play... Durant is going to get that call every time. Giannis can't just plow into the lane thinking he's going to get the benefit against a star player.
The Bucks have to play the last 8 minutes of the second quarter without Giannis. The Nets can't guard him and the game plan seemed to be to try to draw offensive fouls on him rather than actually guard him. If the Bucks are not down double digits at the half it will be a surprise.

Having Forbes out there taking those open shots instead of DDV is a gigantic difference. It's just whether Forbes shooting can make up for his defense. DDV's shooting isn't enough to make up for his above average defense right now.

I see he’s actually played well today. I started watching late in the first.
As good as Middleton was on Sunday, he just doesn't have it tonight.
That sequence was the most DDV sequence ever. An acrobatic defensive rebound, almost trip coming out of it, gather yourself, and then fall over and turn the ball over on an out-of-control drive to the basket.
These Aaron Rodgers State Farm commercials are going to be interesting this coming year.
