I could do without ever reading another article from Bedard.

I didn't know Chris Hovan played for the Pats.

I wonder why he's not making eye contact with her, or even staring at her rack? He must be keeping an eye out for a possible drive-by from AH.

I'm not as anti-Bedard as many around here although he is a bit thin skinned for this crowd.  Thought he did a decent job at JSO although his replacement Ty Dunne is an upgrade.

I checked in at the Boston Globe occasionally to check out Bedard's product and saw that he'd basically started a detailed game review with player grades very similar to what Bob McGinn has been doing for years.  The Boston community was much taken with this as evidently they hadn't gotten exposed to a grinder who actually reviewed game tape and talked to scouts.  Bedard credited McGinn with teaching him that particular rope, rather than claim invention as many media slugs would.

Packer fans really should be grateful for the overall quality of coverage they get from the Wisconsin media.  I know folks like to knock McGinn but he's easily amongst the best in the country.  Only local scribe who approaches McGinn IMO is Rick Gosselin of the Dallas Morning News.  Thank goodness the locals do a decent job as national slugs like Peter King don't cover the Packers well at all, as TT and MM aren't into kissing the ring like other teams' leadership are (the 49ers and Harbaugh and Seahawks and Carroll being the latest flavors of the month).

I thought Bedard was OK (better than fair to midland). But, I  also like Dunne better, glad he came back after a short hiatus supposedly for greener pastures. I used to go to NFP quite a bit when Brandt was still writing for them, since he left though I dont get to NFP very often anymore.

I'll check out this new mmqb site after it opens and if it's any good it will be added to my list of favorites.
