..because.....ah fukk it, it's 70 degrees and I'm gonna spend the afternoon doing yard work.

...because you should really re-evaluate your life priorities if you watch the game.

..because Fedya, I'm pretty damn sure it's not 70 degrees in the non-schyt-hole city you live in.

It's pretty obvious the Commish had the Vikings lose vs the Eagles so there would be Viking players in the Pro Bowl to bring in more viewership $$.

Vikings fell on the sword to protect the Shield.

Just look at the Viking players dominating the best of the best.

If only there was a fan board where somebody might agree with you...you know, like a Viking board?

A long time ago I told an annoying Viking fan on this board to "Go away."....she actually did and I haven't bought a drink here since.

So. Jaymo.

What could I possibly say to you that would re-create that magic?

Wow, BK, that's some serious defecation, er, dedication to your craft, or something. I ended up with a choice between a Transformers movie with commercials and the Pro Bowl and I finally found an instance where Michael Bay wins.

What an ending!!!!!!!!!!!!! Derek Carr drives the AFC for a TD then Von Miller forces a fumble against Goff to seal it!!!!!! Best game of the year. The NFL is back!!!!!!

And following the game, I was looking forward to the advertised Packer/Steeler SB highlights.  Instead, it was the Pro Bowl recap.  No Packer anything.

But sooner or later you can watch the highlites of 4 Packer Super Bowl victories.  Jayblow and Nut Sack will never watch the highlites of 4 Viking Super Bowl victories.

Wisconsin Badgers, 13 time consecutive winners of Paul Bunyon's Axe.

Thanks AMMO - I get what you are saying.  But they have to be on when I am not at work.  If I get desperate, I can get out my copies of all 4 winning Packer SB DVDs, and watch them.    I am not without a backup plan. But I wish the NFL Netquirk would show what they say they will for a change.

I admittedly did watch the Pro Bowl, for about 1 minute.  When I first started watching the NFL in the late 1970s, the game actually meant something.  Heck as a Packers' fan, we weren't going to the playoffs at that time, so getting to see James Lofton, etc. at the Pro Bowl was sort of one of the things to look forward to.

It is amazing just how many people watch it now even though the game is a shell of what it was 40 years ago when it was a real game.

Right on, PHOE.  I would always look for Lofton and Coffman.   Usually played on one of those cold winter Sundays, the last interesting thing on tv before the world snowmobile championships in eagle river.  Or the annual globetrotters broadcast.  Maybe the intro to abc's wide world of sports where the agony of defeat was the guy crashing off the ski jump.
