I'd had the game DVR'd and lost it when I got a new receiver. Sometimes I'd just watch the last 10 minutes when I needed a lift.
I saw that too and hit record. Only missed about 6 mins
This is awesome. All kinds of in game audio that the NFL channel one doesn't have; refs, Jordy, Raji, Clay the benches. Completely different angle on the game. Dissecting all the big plays. It's like I hoped America's game would be.
I have the this game and the GB vs Chi games on my Harddrive. Captured both in HD. Big files SB is 33 gig, NFC Championship is 27 gig. I would share if I can get them on Blu Ray. Assuming I am not breaking any rules here.
PM Iowcheese with that offer.
He needs something other than gay-midget Hawkeye cheerleaders on Facebook porn on his hard drive.
Man, it's about time the Pack had one of these NFL's Greatest Games where they were a winner. They've had the '98 playoff loss to the 49ers, the Super Bowl XXXII loss to Denver, and the 2007 NFC Championship game loss to the Gints. Occasionally they'll show the Ice Bowl, but it seems like they show the losses more.
Good to see this one again, back when Greg Jennings was a happy Packer and we were all happy to have him as a Packer...
Who is the goofy, white-haired, bespectacled cracker in interviews? Some Pittsburgh talk radio goof?
That's Mark Madden. He's been doing NFL Films for years. Hosts a Pittsburgh Radio Show.
I remember all the dynasty talk in the days after, thought for sure there would be another by now. Windows open and windows close, maybe this year?
The game I could watch a thousand times was the dominating win over Atlanta. There's something about seeing that smug look on Weems' face after the kickoff return ... he just has no idea how Rodgers is about to go off.
NFC Championship vs. the Bears has to be my favorite game to re-watch from the SB run.
This.
As a life long Bears hater, I absolutely loved knocking them out of the playoffs/Super Bowl with an undermanned, "inferior" team.
I caught the last half hour Tuesday night and sensed it was NEW. They must have shown the third down pass to Jennings with 6 mins to go a dozen times, all at different angles. Jennings saying, "Oh My God" is priceless. Then he mentioned that he should have scored on the play. No hard feelings GJ. Not here anyway.
Any word on this airing again in the future?
Nothing in the guide yet but I have it set to record if it does.
Guide states "First-Aired: 9/17/2013" so it is new
Sigh... my DVR started recording it automatically last night but I cancelled it because I thought it was an old one.

I couldn't agree more. I spent some time on various Falcon forums during the week prior to that game and those fans thought that Atlanta was the most dominant team ever and they were going to walk all over the "soft" Packers this time.. LOL.. Man that was one satisfying victory. That pick 6 by Tramon was probably the single most exciting football moment for me. It was at that moment that I become certain that we were going to win that game and that no team was going to stop us after that.
Collins pick 6 in the Super bowl was really sweet too but by then I expected us to beat the Steelers..
By the way it's nice to finally post on this forum and to interact with all of you, I've been reading it for about 10 years, figured it was time to add some real insight to these discussions j/k Hopefully I can contribute and not embarrass myself too badly.

Hi. Welcome
I'm Blair Kiel. I'm kind of a big deal around here, so if you'd like to interact with me, please clear things with my secretary Fedya , first.
Thanks, saw the new subject line in time by a mere 8 minutes!
That show was fantastic;
lived up to its billing and a thousand thanks for the heads up, greatly appreciated
A great documentary, great interviews, and glad to see that particular Super Bowl get the respect it deserves. Top 5 for all-time in great plays, excitement, etc.
Is there ever more than 24hrs notice?
Just watched it. Great show.
I'll never understand the giant, oversized T-shirts they make the players put on over their pads right after the game. They look so bad and make the players look like fools.
No way does that make me want to buy on of those shirts.
Welcome Bart.
Welcome Bartmandude!
Thank you both

I cannot begin to express how happy I am that he has so quickly invited me to bask in his virtual presence and his illustrious hair. It's like winning the lottery twice
And a special thanks Blair Kiel for such a warm welcome to this forum.
