NFL makes another official change to roughing the passer rule.

Now JPP bumped Bens helmet and Ben again flopped to the ground. When do the oscars come out?

The refs are in a tough spot, they get graded by the league after each game, so they get dinged if they miss these calls. I would wager most of all of the refs agree with everyone else, but they work for the league and the league tells them to call it a certain way or else. Not surprising we’ve seen so many officials retire or take non-game roles. 

The league office is just out of control with this stuff. Makes it hard to watch. This game tonight I’ve seen 5 different RTP calls and probably 1 of those 5 would have been called in past years. It’s just not fun to watch if every game is a flag fest.

I am done watching games that don't involve my team that I am part owner of based on purchases in the past.

The answer seems obvious to me.  Each game has one full time quarterback that plays for both sides.  No one wants to hurt their own QB.  It worked in my neighborhood when we had an odd number of players.
