Should be done already, although the stadium is  far from the fires the first responders, cops and other infrastructure will be stressed by then.  Also adding a bunch of fans at this time will not be helpful.  Glendale is just down the 10.

Per Schefter:

Monday’s Vikings-Rams Wild Card game has been moved from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA to State Farm Stadium, the home of the Arizona Cardinals, the NFL announced today.

The decision was made in consultation with public officials, the participating clubs and the NFLPA.

The game will be televised on ESPN, ABC, ESPN+ and ESPN Deportes at its scheduled 8:00 p.m. ET

Sucks for Rams and fans but NFL needed to move game. Air quality is not good right now in LA County. Unstable situation with wildfires and winds. Hollywood Hills fire erupted last night, FD put that out and another one popped up in West Hills north of LA. Wondering if it's arsonists at this point.

We know people in Pacific Palisades, CA who lost their home of 37 years, many restaurants gone, my favorite local hike area is toast. But our friends' Lutheran Church is still standing up on a hill.

It's been stressful for my wife and I. We are 1.6 miles away from mandatory evacuation zone. We have bags packed in case we need to go. Not out of the woods yet but it's day 3 and I think we will be ok.

Pray for us out here, we need it.

My daughter and fam live about 15 crow miles from the Palisades fire.  She is an elementary school teacher.  She just told me that smoke and even ash is on and off unbearable.  Whenever I go out there we make it a point to drive PCH up thru that area, exploring Malibu, Topanga Canyon and Sunset Blvd.  I’ve been fortunate to have been in many beautiful places but the Palisades with its many fine homes, landscaping and magnificent trees and ocean is special.  By the way for you golf fans, the Riviera course is right on Sunset.  I wonder how that and the Getty Villa made out.

AND IT’S ALL GONE…..      and these emoji’s are stupid.  I am just sick for them.  I did just give to the Red Cross…not enough, as my limited income only allows a couple hundred dollars.  Where are the billionaires now….. it just breaks my heart all the destruction caused by climate change.  It’s getting worse and worse.  I’m just so sad…..sick and soooooo sad.

I had wondered why they wouldn't try to move it to the closest stadium (SF or LV, perhaps?), but they may have had a conflicting event that wouldn't allow it.

I don't know if the Rams lose any HFA.
California football fans tend to be apathetic
Unless they're winning, of course. Then everybody is a "lifelong fan".

Sounds like the Minnesota vikings bandwagon fans.

Vikings fans were saying how this evens things out cause it was "unfair " that they had to play at LA.

Well, it wasn't fair that the Rams had the home field advantage to begin with so this is really how it should be...

But, it would have been okay, if the game was played in Minneapolis. What bunch of whiners!

Agreed. Although it’s very unfortunate circumstances that the game had to be moved, it does seem like we caught a justifiable break here.

Go ahead and win Minnesota...

Eagles, Lions, Vikings to get to the Super Bowl.

I'm all about it 🖕🏼😈🖕🏼

I'm going to drink 36 1/2 bottles of Zquil and wake up for the SB. I know that's what it may take to get there, but there is no way my mental make-up can take that run.

In that case, Tavis Smiley, I'm all set for the Packers 5th SB victory! Nutcrusher whisky going down, real good! Only had to type this 6 times, to get it right! GO PACK, GO!!!

I'm good with either outcome in this game *IF* the Packers win tomorrow.

I'd love to see 3/4 of the remaining NFC teams in our division.

Now if the Packers lose tomorrow I'm all aboard the Rams bandwagon.
