it must be tough when the team you support has absolutely no championship history to remember or reflect on, and nothing but a trail of tears leading to failure after failure.  I'd usually feel sympathy for such people in such a situation but this is self-inflicted pain and misery that can be avoided by not believing in unicorns and choosing to take a different path.

Bart Starr - 14 for 24, 191 yds, 2 TDs

Packers - 32 rushes, 80 yards

Don Meredith - 10 for 25, 59 yds, 1 INT

Cowboys - 33 rushes, 92 yards

“IT’S THE GREATEST GAME EVER PLAYED!!!”

Using stats from 50 years ago is a totally valid argument because the game hasn't changed at all.  This makes sense to a MIN fan considering their franchise is so great for having lost 4 SB's 40 years ago.  It all adds up!

Not to mention the adversity of weather conditions on that day making offensive production so improbable.  But to a fan base who needs to be pampered to fill a stadium, this also makes total sense.

The Saints/Vikings 2009 was a better game than the ice bowl.

You really are a **** stirring ****ing moron with no actual sense of football history.

There were more turnovers in a 2009 Indoor game played at 72 degrees than a game played outdoors in -25 temps on ice.

Adrian Peterson struggled to cope with the frigid game conditions. He ****ing fumbled the ball every time they handed it to him. If any Minny coach trusted that kid beating no ball securing dick it would have been 13 guys in the huddle instead of 12.

The outcome made 2009 a memorable game. Not a great one. The silver savior shoved his cock up hopes ass and reminded you how much it sucks to rely on Packer cast offs.

“The 2009 NFC title game was better than the Ice Bowl”....Just STFU already.

So what.  I’m saying 2009 was a better game than the ice bowl.  That’s all that matters.

#16 - The Ice Bowl

I just typed it out.  That means it’s real.

Dickweeds posting selected stats from the Ice Bowl. As if that even begins to reveal the sort of game that was and its importance in league history. Hell, North American sports history. To his credit Bud Grant understood. He actually deserves respect as do a lot of players on his teams.

Besides the fact that 'stats are for losers', just more evidence that they've probably never watched any of it -- or if they did, they probably tuned out because it didn't look like the Arena League lookalike crap they've been stuck with since the Metrodump was built.

They are indeed the pinnacle of V*****g's fandom.

Well now, to me the greatest game was the NFC Championship on Jan 14, 2001.  Giants 41 Suckqueens 0

Culfumbler 13 of 28 for 78 yards and 3 INT.  Also a fumble and a QB rating of 13.7   Suckqueens rushing 9 rushes for 54 yards.   I could go on and on and on.

Nah...those are history.  Ancient history.  Good for you guys.

We just laugh at your self-proclamations like, “greatest game ever!”, or “Zeke Bratkowski was a great QB!”, or “James Starks is AP, only faster!”, or “Sam Gado is a diamond in the rough!”

Isht like that is why we laugh at you guys.  Now, where’s the cake?  Sack gets angry when there’s no cake.

For ****s sake, the vikings don't have an Ice Bowl, or a Superbowl for that matter.  Is it any wonder they turn out to be intolerable ****s like BPS.  All they have is a Loveboat story, is it any wonder they have evolved to what they are.

And Suckqueen fans get bent out of shape when they are reminded the Packers have 13 NFL Championships and the Vikings have 0!

You sure about that?

Holy cow! Jayblob is actually right for once. 1969

Packer fans get more enjoyment from a Viking loss than a packer win.

Duly noted.

Did somebody say “cake”?

Not until you two bozos showed up. We love to win and we love to enjoy GB wins and we heartily celebrate them. But when trolls hang out here for no reason other than to try to get their rocks off by dissing our team on our board, we cannot help but bring up the spectacular failures of said trolls' team.

Go diss some Detroit fans... oh wait. Det has won 9 NFL championships. So go diss some Chi fans... oh wait. Chi has won 9 NFL championships and a SB. And it goes without saying GB has won 13 championships. ...it seems the only team you should be dissing is your own. (See how easy this is?)

Now stop and go back to your cave.

I rather enjoyed having our trolls embarrassed by the witty members of this board but I would say their continued delving into comparing stats  comparing pre 70's rule football to todays NBA on grass is like comparing scalene to isosceles triangles where the only legit comparison is number of sides!

Not really.  The Kansas City Chiefs are the World Champions after the 1969 season.

But the Queenies officially won the NFL Championship in 69. Far be it from me to agree with an idot Queenie fan but facts are facts. Yes the Chiefs were the World Champs. Jut like the Colts were NFL champs in 68 but the Jets were the World Champs.

True but they were NFL Champions in 69. They were Champions of the league they were in. If the Packers lost to the Chiefs or Raiders they still would have been credited as being NFL Champions also. I'm the last person in the world to give the Vikes anything they don't deserve.

Today's NFC equivalent.

69' World Champions. Winners of SUPER BOWL IV :  Kansas City Chiefs  (AFL)
