Don't get me wrong. Nick Foles has been outstanding. But in order to set a record, don't you (or shouldn't you) have to play pretty much the entire season?

In 2011 Aaron Rodgers set the NFL passer rating record at 122.5. He played 15 games, completing 68.3% of his 502 passes for 4,643 yards. He threw 45 TD passes against only 6 INT.

Nick Foles is starting only his 11th game tonight. As of halftime, Foles has completed 198 of 307 passes for 2,825 yards. He's thrown 27 TD passes against 2 picks.

But again, he didn't even start a third of the season.

In the Major Leagues, in order to win something like a batting crown, you have to have 503 at bats. Foles is playing the equivalent of 111 of 162 games. He wouldn't come anywhere near qualifying.

Foles right now has a QB rating of 120.77 for the season. If he has a big second half, he gets the record without even throwing for 3,000 yards? Seriously?
