Zimmerman with two costly decisions. Should’ve tried for two.  Should’ve kicked the FG.

Especially when the two point conversion success rate is 47%.

Going up 7 makes is a little different. Up 8, a lot of things have to go right to score a TD and then it’s a coin flip to win the game with a stop on the conversion. And worst case even then is to go OT.

And had he gone for two and made it, the 4th down decision would've been much easier because kicking the FG puts them up by 9. He got bailed out by his dumb XP decision with the interception only to make another dumb call by going for it on 4th down.  They deserved to lose.

The Vikings have good overall talent on that roster, but injuries and lack of talent at certain positions like CB and OL are certainly impacting their ability to win and close out games.   They are 1-4 but their schedule isn’t too bad the rest of the way sans another game v GB and two v Chitcago and a road game v the Aints and Yucs.  So in theory, they could win 6-7 games which would be perfect.  Good enough to be somewhat competitive, but bad enough to not really matter in terms of getting a decent draft pick or making the playoffs.

The Jets might not win a game.  The Giants are terrible but figure they will beat 1-2 of their divisional rivals?  The Washington football team or whatever the hell they are called are also terrible.  Houston and Cincy and San Diego are better than their records.  Then there is Dallas.  Arguably the worst 2-3 team in league history.  Allowing 36PPG has to rank up there as historically bad.

The Packers just need to keep winning and get the 1 seed.   Their chief NFC rivals like the Rams and Hawks and even the Bucs or Cards would have to travel to GB likely in mid to late January.  Good luck with that.  I didn’t mention Chitcago because I think that’s an 8 or 9 win team.  Their next half dozen game are not easy so expect to see them lose a few.

Seattle ain't shit. They're going to lose spectacularly in the near future.

Much like the Packers used to be....That's a 5-11 or 6-10 team without their QB.

All Zimmer needed to do was kick a very short FG. Atl, Dallas, New England --- 1 play & Seattle loses. That's a RAZOR thin winning margin. Just like Packers last year...Seattle is the worst 5-0 team in NFL history. They could easily be "The best 1-4 team in NFL history"

Meanwhile in Green Bay....4 straight crushing wins. Seattle ain't even close to Green Bay. Pittsburgh, Buffalo & KC, Rams...maybe even TOMpa Bay & Chicago are all closer to the Packers....at least they all play some defense.

I won’t be too negative on the Seahawks as  like the Pack they’re winning games with a bunch of guys injured.  If they get some of their RBs, plus Mike Iupati and Jamal Adams back plus “Snacks”  gets back into football shape, they’ll look better than they do right now.

That said, I agree that Wilson mostly carries that team.  I root against him but I give him the MVP for what he’s done this year.  He’s one of the most precise deep ball throwers to ever play the game, so you can never relax when facing him.

Don't think anyone mentioned this but Travis Fulgham (the "ex-Packer") had himself a day for Philly. 10 catches, 152 yards and a TD. Forget all the guys they didn't draft. How about keeping the guys you already had?

I think that's what they did by not drafting anyone.

Can't keep everyone on the 53 & Fulgham was plucked off PS by Eagles. (Who desperately need WR's) It happens.

Nope, he was never on the PS. Signed August 10th and cut August 19th. Eagles grabbed him the next day.
