...because it's football.

...because Jameis Winston was up all night studying for his Covid test.

...because Fedya is at the grand opening of the Jackie Mason Comedy Club in East Catskill.

1st quarter looked fairly meh.
It would still be 0-0 without the Hawks having that one lucky play.
I, too, detest Jameis Winston, nd never wish him any success. But, at the same time, I wonder how both he and Newton flamed out seemingly overnight. It's like one year the media talks about you having a MVP season, and the next year the same media are making excuses for what happened.

When you're dumb as a rock, entitled, protected and have a  huge ego the world figures you out eventually.

Cam: Thief, liar, cheat.

Jameis: Thief, sex abuser.

The first stream I clicked on was ESPN2.
The Manning Bros thing. Watched it for a while, but found it irritating.

It's overhyped. I'm admittedly biased. Never been a fan of any Manning. I'll give credit for them trying a new format. But Peyton sounds like the douche I always believed him to be. He's borderline autistic, it seems.

Newton had a lot more success than Winston. Cam was one of the best athletes to ever play QB. He's 6'5", 250 and used to run a 4.6. He never really was that accurate of a thrower but when you can run for big yardage and are one of the best red zone runners in the league, it draws defenders closer to the LOS and the passing lanes are a lot wider. Once he lost about 2 steps from getting hit from all those running plays, those passing lanes weren't there anymore and his accuracy, which was never great, looks a lot worse.

Winston was never in Cam's class as an athlete. He was more a pocket passer that just throws too many interceptions

Have I mentioned how much I love watching Seattle lose? Unfortunately I was having such a good time that I busted into the 150 pc. Costco bag of Halloween candy. The rest is a blur of empty wrappers and regret.

First time watching a Manning MNF broadcast. It's not great but it's better than their normal ESPN broadcast. Some interesting tidbits come out.

It's definitely different.
They're both football smart, and can impart some useful knowledge, but it seems to be more reactive than predictive. It works great on replays, not so much on live action.
It suffers from that audio 'lag' that remote broadcasts can have, and the awkwardness it creates when they talk over each other is annoying.
The Lynch segment made me switch. That was unbearable.
