Greg Guard and Wisconsin have the final piece of their 2023 recruiting puzzle.

On Friday, Lakeville (Minn.) North forward Nolan Winter announced his commitment to the Badgers, choosing UW over Stanford, Xavier, Minnesota, Wake Forest, Nebraska, Oregon State, and others.

The three-star forward took his official visit to Madison the weekend of Aug. 3, which helped seal the deal.

I got a more in-depth tour of the campus," Winter told Badger247 last month. "It was cool, I liked it a lot. It's really a college town and they really care about their sports, which is cool. You can just tell that everyone takes Badger sports really seriously. It's really cool to see.

"There's just something different about that town. Everybody just wants to win. Everywhere you go on campus, they're all with you. That campus is just unbelievable. I really like the school, State Street. They're gonna get some new facilities, new locker room. I'm looking forward to seeing that.

It’s a decent get for the Badgers.  His game is a bit like Krabbenhoft - the guy that recruited him.  That being said, he could play a stretch 4 or even center as he gets stronger.  Kid can shoot and is a good passer.  Needs to work more on D, but has the ability to become a solid defender and rebounder.
