Hate to see this happen to a great guy.
Hate to be the one to say it, but this probably happened because he's playing 34 End. It's a waste of his ability and it's killing his career.
Also Capers sucks.
Too bad Pat Riley is not the Texans GM
CAPackFan95 posted:Handys from Lindsay Vonn can only do so much.
It's probably the stuff she picked up from Tiger that caused the issue in the first place.

Clowney is finally healthy and was doing great things as an pass rushing OLB. So what did the Texans do? Move him to DE. Now he's taking on as 350 pound OL as an end. WTF.
Reminds me of when Raji got moved from NT to DE, we all know how that worked.
Or when Jevon Kearse was moved to down DE, cutting short his career.
There have been a lot of great players over the years that had their careers cut short by injuries. Hope that's not the case with 99, but he won't be the first or last guy to leave the game too soon.
Damn game is too violent. They oughta wear tutu's and play patty cake so they don't get hurt.
Jeremy Ross is signing with the Jets

Completely lost track of him after he left the Lions.
That's okay, he completely lost track of the ball that was in his hands again.
Cowboys coach Jason Garrett confirmed Dez Bryant missed treatments and team meetings on Monday-Wednesday because the receiver feared the knee injury was worse than suspected and did not want to face the decision. "It was the wrong thing to do,"Garrett said. Bryant has a tibial plateau fracture in his right leg. Garrett said Bryant would not practice today but Bryant is moving around better and not ruled out of playing Sunday.
So tired of coaches continually making excuses for this guy. He goes AWOL for 3 days but it was because he CARED too much!
I thought you said these guys were human?
I have little patience for players like Dez who berate coaches , teammates, pout, etc. on sidelines...all in the name of "he is such a competitor"
I'm seeing reports that Dez Bryant has been ruled out for Sunday. TO BE CLEAR, Bryant has NOT ruled himself out. He is playing it safe.

He'd be an idiot to play with an acute fracture, hairline or not. All it takes is one decent hit or twist and then he's out a long period of time if not the season. And since when does a team allow a player to dictate if he's ruled out?
Oh ya, it's Jerruh. And Bryant's a childish a-hole.
A lot of injuries + whiny/bad 'tude thus far in his career. Not a stellar look for a #4 pick
Sammy Watkins to IR, Bills claim Justin Hunter
Posted by Josh Alper on September 30, 2016, 5:31 PM EDTWhen Bills coach Rex Ryan spoke to the media on Friday, there was “major concern” about Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins‘ ability to return to the lineup in the near future because of continued problems with his surgically repaired foot.
Ryan may have a penchant for hyperbole, but this wasn’t one of those times. The concern about Watkins was great enough that the Bills placed him on injured reserve on Friday afternoon.
Watkins will be eligible to return to the team in eight weeks if his foot is feeling better and the Bills opt to use their one designated return spot for him, but there’s obviously some doubt about when Watkins might be well enough to return to the Bills lineup.
Well, Rex does know feet.
Don't worry about Dez, they've now removed the term 'fracture' from his diagnosis and are just calling it a bone bruise. I guess jerrah musta been over to see the doc and correct him about what's going on.
Are the cowgirls trying to eliminate Dez from their roster? that's my diagnosis.
Despite the Dallas Cowboys and his representatives at Roc Nation working with him, Dez Bryant continues to demonstrate a pattern of irresponsible behavior by being late to or missing medical treatments and team meetings, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
They said the wide receiver has shown improvement at times, but he has still been tardy or AWOL at least 20 times and possibly as many as 40 times during his seven-year Dallas career.
40 times? Nice to see Jerruh and co. have the indians runnin' things in Dallas.
They can't suspend him for that and claw back any of his pay?
Of course they can, but he's Dez Bryant!!
Don't you know WHO HE IS??!!?!?
I'm stunned that teams have different rules for different players.....stunned
Your winnings, sir.
what could they possibly be thinking? I'm positive there's a practice squad guy somewhere that would be better.
from PFT:
The Falcons are running out of linebackers, and may have to go to the discard pile for some help.
According to Adam Caplan of ESPN, the Falcons have some interest in former Packers linebacker A.J. Hawk.
The positional need is clear, with four linebackers injured to varying degrees.
He'll know where to line up. What to do. When to do it.
It's that execution/ability part he no longer has.
The Falcons do have a need at LB no doubt, but this smacks more of picking his brain to scheme against our defense.
Hawk is the Packers all time leading tackler???
10 yards down field.

What's going to happen to A.J. Hawk's podcast, http://thehawkcast.show/ ? I'm asking for a friend.
I suspect you could hold the "How to beat Don Capers defense" meating over a Slim Jim.
Good for Hawk. Maybe Smith will use him properly, unlike Dom Capers Sucks.
I hope we play the Falcons this year.
Wait, did you say Julio Jones?
BTW, what is this?
I love it! Expect to see a lot of it.
Oy.
AJ Hawk? The Falcons must think it's their year to go to the Superb Owl since they didn't want to take a chance on a young guy. I hope Hawk took them for a decent chunk of change.
Like the smilie, Fandame?
Well, Goalline, I did get a laugh out of it! (My wife cracked up, too.) But it really means I have to be careful when my son reads X4 over my shoulder.
