This came to mind because there are a couple of guys who continually make me laugh with their posts.

Here is the definition of wit:

quote:
Wit suggests the power to evoke laughter by remarks showing verbal felicity or ingenuity and swift perception of the incongrous.

Both Blair and Fedya cause me to laugh at least once a day. Very bright and clever with their replies to our serious and passionate diatribes.

I find myself laughing more at these two than I do at the pros on the comedy channel and at our local Hilton (and I have to pay to see these guys).

I think Ferrari deserves my vote for the post above!

(Send my money to....)
The list is way too long...iowacheese, Hause, Goalline, Blair Kiel, Fantastic, Tim....and so many more that I'm sadly forgetting to mention.......I am constantly impressed by the wit demonstrated by most of the crowd here....we're like one big M*A*S*H episode.

I personally feel that its easier to be witty in the delayed response world of internet forums, but it doesn't take anything away from the great banter that occurs here daily.

This latter part of the definition eliminates A LOT of posters.

Of course this former part of the definition includes the posters eliminated from the latter part of the definition.

I thought the "Triangle of Tomfoolery" was Ted Kennedy, Bill Clinton and Marion Berry...
