badgers are hiring an oc. apparently bobby engram is the leading candidate. he makes $1.7 million with the Ravens. thoughts?

I would think he would have to be an intriguing candidate. He has coached the Ravens WR and TEs so that would be a huge plus I would imagine.
I am a HUGE fan of them hiring a true OC and with that maybe somehow being able to open that offense up a little bit.

He will never beat out Mertz
So it is offical. Bobby Engram is the new Badger OC. His son Dean plays DB with the Badgers coming off his Soph. season. Bobby Engram played 14 years in the NFL with the Bears, Seahawks and Chiefs. He also served 2 years on Chryst's staff when he was at Pitt. Let's hope he can kick the Badger offense into high gear. And maybe bring a new QB to Wisconsin too.
seems like a good move. should also help recruiting

Good article on hiring Al Johnson as RB coach
fire Al Johnson
Getting Bob Bostad to move to offensive line coach may be a very underrated move. For those familiar with BB, he was once previously OL coach at UW and they churned out some dominant players back 10-12 years ago. Next to Mertz and the QBs, no group has been more disappointing recently than the OL.
is it recruited talent or coaching?
