Did I just see a propaganda ad from the nfl regarding player safety and whether parents should let their kids play football?

If I had a kid, no way is he playing football. Well, unless he's really good and is a potential meal ticket... but even then.. hey kid give uhh baseball or tennis a try!
Reminded me of the BP commercials telling everyone what a great company they are after the gulf oil spill.
If I had a kid, I'd let him play kicker.
Or teach him how to pitch a baseball left-handed so he could become a left-handed reliever.

In hindsite, Houston hadn't played anybody.
Our son has played now 11 seasons of tackle football. 6 years of Pop Warner, 4 years of Spring 8 man and now first year of high school varsity. Injuries are always a concern and he has had them.

He outgrew that in the summer of 11. He sees young men he plays/played with/against getting D1 offers. We are told by coaches and guys who have played at all levels, eben in the NFL that he is a prospect.

Osh, you made a quote a couple or three years ago, when Green Bay was going to play an undefeated team (can't recall the team; possibly the Patriots?).
