When I saw Herbert play the Badgers in the Rose Bowl 10 months ago, I didn't think he'd amount to anything in the NFL. He ran for a lot of yards, but he didn't look like he could read defenses or look comfortable at all in the pocket.

Man, does he look different.

Hunter Henry a stud.

Seems like there's 20 excellent tight ends in the league.

So, with the increased importance of TEs in the NFL if you are a 6'5" 240 pound college kid, should you play TE or DE? Would Julius Peppers be better used as a TE if he was starting in the NFL today?

Hmmmm... Interesting take.  I watched that game and I thought he was that good back then as well.

He threw for only 138 yards with 0 TDs and 1 interception.

Maybe Jim Leonhard is just a good defensive coordinator?

So if the Saints go on and lose, the combined record of the teams the Packers have beat is 4-15.  Just saying...............

The Seahawks are 5-0 and have beaten teams with a cumulative record of 6-17.

The Steelers are 4-0 and have beaten teams with a cumulative record of 3-15-1.

Brees looks done. I mean like retire tomorrow done.

He and Brady are just trying to outlast the other to get the TD pass record. Until they're carted off or nobody will sign them they'll keep playing.
