I feel much better about Rodgers. It has nothing to do with the competition he's playing against either. He's playing with great poise and making really good decisions when he gets pressure. His release looks so much better with a lot of zip. I'm very optimistic about Rodgers continued development and being a successful QB in this league.

He still tends to hold onto the ball too long, but he's shown a lot of improvement in that area in that he's making quicker decisions in the pocket. The change (improvement) from last year to this year is pretty amazing and if you give the kid one more year there is no question in my mind he can take over and lead this team.

Rodgers has always had the tools and smarts but you can't ever get enough real game experience to make a difference.

Even the great QB's in this league (i.e. Manning and Palmer) weren't incredible right out of the gate, but once they got to see how the game functions live there's no doubt they learned from their experience and took advantage. While Rodgers isn't the talent of those two guys he's still IMO a more than capable player.

That's true, but would you rather have incredible depth at one position and little depth at another OR would you rather sacrifice and have good depth at both?

We should sacrifice a DT IF it meant we could aquire a better RB. JMO though.

I would keep the depth at defensive tackle. I'm not sure there is a running back out there that would be available that would make that much difference. I am willing to see how the young guys develop.

This was the first game I actually got to watch, but he just looks more comfortable if nothing else. Not looking so "deer-in-the-headlights like last year. He's developing! What a concenpt!

best part is he is only 24.

He is actually 23.
