Despite the rebuild, 2016 is going to be fun! Go Crew!

EDIT: Listening to the negative 105.7 Morning show and they were ripping on Wily in the 8-hole. Bochy uses that strategy as well.

This Brewer team takes me back to my youth. This is like the early to mid-1970s teams. You watched them because you were just grateful to have a baseball team in Wisconsin. They had a couple of good players, but you knew they were going to lose 90 games when the season started. And Bob Uecker has called it all. I've said this before, but the thing I feel worst about as a Brewer fan is that Bob Uecker will never get to call the last out of a game in which the Brewers clinch a World Championship. There is just something wrong about that.

Pound the strike zone

So true MP. There would be no better radio call then hearing Ueck announce that the Brewers are World Series Champions. He is so deserving of it after 46 seasons calling for this team. He's 82 now so i can imagine there are not many more chances left to win it all during his tenure.

Those are some great calls. My other favorites.

1. Cecil Cooper's go ahead 2 run single in the 1982 ALCS.

2. A bunch of calls from Cecil Cooper's 3 HR game against the Yankees in the late 1970s.

My absolute favorite Uecker of all time is Robin Yount's catch off of a Eddie Murray drive to save Juan Neives's no hitter.  "Long run Robin, long long run, heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssss got it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Finding the no hitter call was a challenge, could not find Cooper's single.

And honestly, there are to many oddball stories in my head to even remember.  How to convert American to Canadian was one of my favorites.

Actually as much as I hate to say it I think there is NO chance he will get to call it.  I love the Brewers and I really miss listening to Ueck on the radio it is one huge thing I miss about not living in Wisconsin anymore.

I think we are well designed to get a top 5 pick in 2017, but my current Brewer wish list is for some pitching.  I fully admit to being jealous of the Mets and their cost controlled pitching staff (until 2018).

Here is a '16 draft that will be completely wrong
