did not see 12 years a slave but thought Amy Adams in American Hustle was outstanding as female actor. I picked Jennifer Lawrence to win last year because of Silver Linings Playbook and thought Amy Adams was every bit as good in this movie.
The Ax Man hit on a lot of these. BTW, this thread should be titled "Movies Fedya will watch 30 Years from now".
ABC's Oscars broadcast drew 43 million viewers, biggest audience in 10 years.
Chargers/Broncos playoff game drew just over 41 million viewers.
The Super Bowl drew an estimated 40 million female viewers.
I'm no movie critic. I have no idea how the academy determines what movies end up nominated for best picture.
But how in f**k does Wolf of Wall Street get a nod for best picture and All Is Lost get's absolutely zero notice at all???
WOWS looks like an incredibly forgettable movie that isn't going to age well.
