Hey guys, just moved to Bakersfield, CA, and was wondering if anyone had suggestions for a Packers hangout where I can go see games... Would really prefer a place where a bunch of Pack fans hang out, and the crowd and game volume are loud and involved.

YaTittle, you still in Bakersfield? Anyone else?

And, yup, I'm still keeping the packfanincolo moniker!

Welcome. It's a fun place to live except for the bad air quality, lots of interesting people. To the right of Texas politically, so that might be shocking coming from Colorado, but you'll be amused.

Two Packer bars are RJ's in the Rosedale area (9440 Hageman Road) which has a HUGE projection screen and Benji's French Basque (4001 Rosedale Highway). Unfortunately I haven't seen one game in public this year due to the free NFL Sunday ticket, but maybe we can meet up for one, like the Bears game. Papa O's Pizza up in the northeast used to be known for Packer fans but I'm not even sure it's still open.
Another possibility is B. Ryder's on White Lane, which is usually overrun by Steeler fans but it's noisy and has large TV spread throughout, some areas with stadium seating and they run EVERY game on at least one TV.
Certainly different from Colorado...but then, when I moved from Milwaukee, I thought I would not like it anywhere else, but so far have enjoyed every place I've been at!

The College I work at has a very important football championship game tomorrow (Saturday) for the California State Championship. Folks are already on campus to tailgate! Football seems a serious state of mind around here (and that's great)

YaTittle, lets try and meet up for the Bears game! It will be fun! (Though I'm not sure if I can slam a bloody mary at 10AM!! Yikes, that's early for a football game!
Yeah, Bakersfield was where Frank Gifford played for the Drillers and Bakersfield College used to draw 20,000 to Memorial Stadium on Saturday nights. The high school games can draw 4-5,000 for the big games. It's got a bit of Texas in it!

Bakersfield really isn't considered California, we like to call it "Baker-tucky". Not sure how it compares to Fresneck though - at least it is close to some great National Parks.

mr21, you in Bakersfield too?
