Oh boy I guess the receiving group is flexing their muscles and trying to show management who’s in control!  Solidarity!

Someone might want to advise anyone not named Davante Adams that they aren’t proving anything and likely just punched their ticket out of GB.   Any one of them could be released or traded tomorrow and quite frankly they need the goddamn reps to get better regardless of who is playing QB.

What’s next, Kevin King and Chandon Sullivan not showing up in full protest mode?

If you are the player agent for any of those guys I’d ask for a refund.

The Packers 4 best players are not at the OTAs. Bakh may get a pass for rehab, but Alexander chose to skip as well.

Any of our practice squad players or other UDFAs at OTAs? With all those missing WRs, I was wondering if Begelton made an appearance. How about Patrick Taylor at RB?

Begelton was there.

Near the end of practice Tuesday, Jordan Love dropped back to pass during a 7-on-7 period. He looked left, then gradually worked his way across Clarke Hinkle Field to his second and third receiving options before finally throwing a shallow pass to Reggie Begelton on his right.

Lordt. Dillon's calves look about the size of Jones thighs.

To be fair, Jones is standing further away, making him look even smaller.  I mean look at how much bigger Dillon is than the guy on the left!  It's funny if you cover Dillon's lower half and see what looks like a normal size football player above the waist, then uncover the lower half and see somebody grafted an olympic weightlifter onto him.

4-0 without Davante. We may win the next 30 Super Bowls if he leaves.

Sorry, I just love pulling ballwasher chain.

LOL!

I'm not sure whose balls you're washing today Goalline but I'm not a Rodgers ballwasher I  feel he is far from blameless here and should be more direct with what the hell is going on.  I feel he gives us the best chance to win now and that is why I hope they work it out but his passive-aggressive, hippy, bullshit arrogant act is starting to get really old.

I feel there are some real issues with our FO and so I'm trying to see both sides of it.

I saw a tweet from one of the players (Amos?) saying he was there because of a contract bonus.

Clark said the same. OTA's aren't a big deal for vets. Essentially, they are just teaching the younger guys how to practice. Really, the leadership from the older players is the most important thing they provide at these things. Mini camps are a different thing altogether.

Dammit, quit being so rational. Now you are ruining my fun.

The NFLPA encouraged all veterans not to show up at voluntary workouts.  Andrew Brandt said that was one of the reasons he started putting in workout bonuses in contracts - and Amos and the Smiths are there to collect those bonuses.  Rodgers is forfeiting $500,000 for not showing up.  While he can afford it, many others can’t.

I don't care too much if players like Adams miss OTAs (for whatever reason), but some JAGs like Funchess sure as hell need to be there. That guy has done NOTHING for the team for over a year now.

And who the hell is Stanford Samuels?

Yeah, Funcheese sat out a year for Covid related reasons. If anyone needs to be at these OTAs, it's him. I wonder if he makes the roster? Samuels was an UDFA, so he is fighting to make the team. If he isn't injured, or ill, he needs to be at the OTAs, as well.

One thing to note, all the workout bonus money the missing players are giving up will be added to next years cap maximum. So, the Pack will be in slightly better position cap wise in 22 because of those not earning the workout bonus this year. I think it is something like $2million or more.  AR12 and Adams alone count for $1million ($500,000 each).

So far so good.

Now tell this to the sports writers.
