My 2 from each conference (It does say 1 or 2 from each conference, I choose 2. Smiler ):

AFC:

Indy (Got all the way to the Super Bowl with a gimpy Dwight Freeny and no Bob Sanders)

Baltimore

NFC:

Minnesota

Atlanta
NFC:

Saints -- I know, I know........typical homerism, right? Wink However, most defending Super Bowl champions are usually picked apart (among both players and coaches). However, the Saints haven't lost much (Scott Fujita signed with the Browns and Jammal Brown, who was hurt for all of last season, was traded to the Redskins for picks). Other than that, the team and coaches have remained pretty much intact, so they have as good a chance as any other team, IMHO.

Packers -- They're loaded, no doubt about it. Plus, the second year under Capers and the 3-4 should bear more fruit. Rodgers will have another All-Pro season and so will his offensive weapons. The only question will be the offensive line: Will it be at least solid enough to last the season? If the answer is yes, the Packers will be golden.

AFC:

Jets -- Rex Ryan has brought a lot of swagger to this team last year and it will continue this year. Plus, the Jets have made some key FA acquisitions in the offseason and Sanchez should be able to feed off of the confidence he gained in the playoffs last season.

Ravens -- This team will be scary this year and in subsequent years. They had a damn good draft and John Harbaugh has proven himself to be a fairly good coach. This team has a lot of upside, so much so that the fact that Ray Lewis is in the twilight of his career won't affect them. The Ravens are building for both the present and the future.

I'm glad you posted.

AFC:

Miami - This team is so underrated. By mid-season you'll all be saying WOW! These guys are good.

Baltimore - I'm concerned about their defense. It's not what it used to be but it should be good enough.

NFC:

Saints - I rarely if ever pick a repeat but I believe the Saints will be right in the mix this year

Atlanta - My favorite darkhorse this year. Matt Ryan is ready to make the jump and they have a pretty good defense too. Michael Turner is going to be a beast this season. Roddy White will be the #1 WR.

-----------

Obviously, I hope the Packers get there

I'm not 100% sold on their defense (yet), but getting Robinson to play CB was a very good pickup, and I also expect Ryan to be much better.

Word around town is that Turner is in great shape too.

I'm looking forward to the game down here, and to the two Falcons/Saints games too.

Thought I heard in the last day that Reed may miss six games. That hurts.
