MIN (8-2) at CHI (4-6)
I hope the Vikes are looking past this game, and the Bores take advantage.
It would be sweet if the Vikes lose on a last-second FG.
Chitcago's defense should keep it close, and perhaps Williams will have another good game.

DET (9-1) at IND (5-6)
I expect the Loins defense to dominate, but I hope that Indy looks at this game as their Superb Owl, and play lights out. It's likely the only way they can win.

TB (4-6) at NYG (2-8)
The G-men are a hot mess.
The Bucs have been taking it on the chin as of late, but I can't see them losing this one.

DAL (3-7) at WAS (7-4)
Speaking of hot messes... the DallAss Cowboys, ladies and gentlemen!
The Commodes, at home, should have a cakewalk.
My enjoyment of DallAss's implosion is somewhat tempered by the fact it would help the Packers if the Cowboys actually won, but I'll try my best to not shed a tear.

AZ (6-4) at SEA (5-5)
This could be an interesting game.
I'd just as soon see the Cards win this one, but won't have much affect to the Packers either way.
With a win, the Cards could essentially take a 3 game lead over SF and the 'Hawks which would put them firmly in the driver's seat for the NFCW.

PHI (8-2) at LAR (5-5)
This is a damned if you do/don't game.
The way I see it, since Philly has the h2h advantage over the Pack, it would be best for them to win the NFCE outright. A win over the Rams ensures they stay 2 games up on Washington.
The Rams may actually have a chance at winning this game.
Playing at home, the Iggles on a West coast trip, and have been playing much better as of late.
If they lose, it puts them another game behind the Packers, and that's not a bad thing.

I've got KC/CAR on CBS and DallAss/Commodes on FOX for the early games.

The Cowboys have moved the ball fairly well, but break down in the RZ, had 1 FG blocked, 1 FG missed.
Commodes are largely the same, have to settle for FG attempts, made 1 and missed 1.
A scintillating 3-0 lead at end of 1st qtr.

As much as I love the NFL, occasionally there are matchups that, if that was the only watching option, I probably scroll thru the guide and watch Curling. Or English pub-style darts. Or maybe some sort of televised women’s sporting event.  We’ll strike that. I’d watch probably anything on TV instead of any women’s sporting event not named beach volleyball.

Speaking of announcing, remember when NFL announcers called the game providing an overview of pre-snap alignments, game/play situations, and then the actual results of the play as it was happening?  And the “analyst” provide occasional insight about plays, game situations, etc?

Yeah, that was awesome.

One thing that sure has become noticeable over the last 2-3 years is the refs overlooking false starts from OTs.
The Vikes just scored a TD on a play where the RT was clearly a half-snap faster than anyone else on the line.
KC and Philly also benefit greatly from this.

As usual the Packers lay out the Blueprint for the rest of the league

MLF made sure to embarass them about it in his presser so they'd get it fixed against the Vikings and they still screwed it up.

I wish they “layout the blueprint for the rest of the league” as to how to build and sustain a SB dynasty in the 21st century.  I mean, blocking FGs is nice and all. But….

Lions went for it on 4th down and got 100% stuffed earlier.

Bears just went for it on 4th down and their rookie QB, jacked up on adrenaline overthrew the ball to Keenan Allen.

Looks like these "going for it's" aren't working very well
