It's funny to me that all these years of elite qb play gave the Packers an appreciation for how hard it is to attain an elite level of performance . They take every opportunity to lower expectations for a new QB. The Bears did the exact opposite and look to a kid with talent to quick fix an ever present organizational malfunction. They have a golden opportunity to develop a kid properly, but aren't putting the propper coaching pieces in place to make it happen. Caleb might be a phenom that can figure it all out anyway, but they're not doing him any favors with their strategy and tactics. If anything they're making it harder for him to develop.

The Texans just laid out the Blueprint to beating the Bears. Rush Caleb relentlessly. Until he proves he can make the defense pay, that's going to continue.

The Texans have two dominant edge rushers. They signed Danielle Hunter away from the Vikings this offseason and Will Anderson was the defensive rookie of the year last year and the #3 overall pick (and the top non-QB) in last year's draft.

Gary, Van Ness, and Preston Smith are not in the same league as Hunter and Anderson right now (and maybe ever).
