8 games this week with direct or indirect implications for the Packers.
Lets start with the divisional games, beginning with:
HOU at MIN - Vikes would seems to have the advantage with home field, and their defense playing well, but can their offense win the game for them?
CHI at IND - If the Colts can figure out how to stop the rush and get Richardson to pull his head out of his ass, they could win this game easily. The Bores should dominate on defense, but can Superman generate enough points to win?
DET at AZ - This could be a good game. Both teams are playing reasonably well, the Cards surprisingly so. I'm going to give the Cards an advantage in this game because of playing at home, and it's supposed to be hotter than hell. Forecast high of 98-100 degrees.
In any case, I hope Murray and Harrison, Jr. tear their asses up after they're spent from the heat. Oh, and win this one for Red Dawn!
Other games of interest:
PHI at NO - Will the Saints continue their offensive prowess, or do the Eagles have enough defense to shut 'em down?
I think it's best for the Packers if the Saints win, so that's who I'll root for.
BAL at DAL - I just want to see DallAss get their asses kicked. At home. Just because. Actually a loss works in the Packers favor, so I'll root twice as hard for the Ravens to surprise them.
SF at LA - This could turn out to be a good game, but I suspect the Niners defense will dominate, and Purdy will score just enough points to win.
KC at ATL (SNF) - The Chefs are another 'just because' team I like to see lose, but have to root for them to win this week. I can't imagine the Falcons having much of a chance of shutting down KC's offense, and I don't think their offense is mature enough to win a shootout.
