Kellen Moore calls the Cowboys' offense.

Dallas has a top 5is QB, a solid OL, a great group of 5 WRs and a decent TE.

Zeke is Zeke and Pollard is an excellent #2 RB.

None of that matters if Jerruh didn't step in and fire Mac's buddy and hand-picked (after a year of studyin' in the barn) defensive coordinator Dom Cape ... I mean Mike Nolan and replace him with Dan Quinn this offseason.

Mac is still the sam Mac whose stubborn loyalty to those who have not earned it and don't deserve it and in-game decision-making leaves everyone scratching their heads, but he is also the personification of the anti-drama coach the Cowboys so desperately needed.

You give Mac the far more talented team and he usually comes out ahead and with the NFC (L)East looking more and more like the NFC North during Mac's tenure in GB (bad, like really bad), old Mac is gonna win a lot of games down in big D.

Now, come the playoffs when he is not facing the Taylor Heinicke's, Jalen Hurts', and Daniel Jones' of the world, will Mac's coaching "genius" be on full display like it was for so many years in GB?

We'll get to find out soon enough.

Not a chance.  Love that McDermott trusts his offense.  Make the other team make a play to stop you (which they did).

Play for the win on the road, the tie at home. Although the current OT rules may alter that thinking a bit.

"If we can't gain half a yard, we don't deserve to win."

It didn't work out, but I'll bet his team has even more respect for McDermott now. On the road, in such short yardage, might as well go down swinging.
