Gotta look good for the press conference.
Even though the Lions will probably be heavy favorites over Washington, that Commanders team is more than capable of pulling an upset against a shorthanded Lions D.
That Jayden Daniels is just absolutely incredible for a rookie. Not looking forward to having this guy in the NFC for the next 10+ years. And I think the Lionsβ coaches will have some sleepless nights preparing for him without some key defensive guys.

I'll bet every last dollar I got that Daniels doesn't last 5 years....let alone 10

Washington better dial back his running or he's going to end up getting the RGIII treatment. I know it's a big part of his game, but he's a good drop back passer too. I'd try my best to preserve his health.

Got it, so the strategy is you don't ice him with a timeout, and you instead hope the play clock runs out before he finishes his rituals. EZ. Maybe key in the ref early and see if you can get him for a helmet violation.
