Biggest negative:  Christian Watson did not play and I think he’s a guy that needs as many reps as he can get with all the time he’s missed.

Positive:  The WR 2022 draft picks that did play look good.  The 7th rounder looks like he could maybe be a decent slot receiver if given a chance.  He’s not Doubs, but I think he could stick in the NFL for a few years.  Maybe they can get away with stashing Tourre on PS for this year.

I think Toure needs a year in an NFL "nutrition and weight training" program.  The kid is pretty slight even compared to Doubs.  I think Doubs and Watson have enough build to survive live action as rookies.  I don't know about Toure or Goodson.  Love definitely has a repour with Toure.

He's built a little like....Johnny Jolly.

That was a great breakdown though you have to factory in the OL'man plays that were away from where the ball was going too.  Nonetheless, he certainly looks like he has all the tools and a decent football IQ so as long as he keeps working on his craft, he should be a good one.  It will also help that our DL is deep enough for him to come in with fresh legs in spot situations where a starter needs a blow.

It's getting really hard to tamp my enthusiasm for what this D could be.  Just gotta stay healthy!

It isn’t realistic to expect DL to keep OL from pushing forward on running plays. Their job is to tie up the OL so they can’t block the LBs from tackling.

There are folks on here who have a super romantic view of the way the game is played.

People have been ruined by video games. Same shit happens in soccer…people think you should score 6 goals a game or you suck.

Same with fantasy football.  If you are a great fantasy player  you think any GM  can build a championship team.  Every year.

I'm beginning to think they may keep four backs on the roster somehow if they're really going to run that many two-back sets. Jones isn't big and an injury to either may gum up the game plan. It's not like they can count on flipping to a heavier receiver lineup with Watkins' and Cobb's injury histories either. That one could get very interesting.

FF and Draft Kings shit has ruined football...fucktards spend the whole game looking at their phones with the game on. Ass-faced hipster millenial scum.

I've noticed this more and more at Lambeau the last 4-5 years. People buried in their phones while plays are happening. I keep that shit in my pocket until there's a timeout or end of quarter.

Packerwire was great when some of us were there back when and the woman who ran it was great.
Boris was still FRZ back then.
My old link doesn't work anymore...

I think I was bvan there, but I don't remember.
Just hit my 21st X4 anniversary on the 2nd.

Very true, They had a limit of how many times you could post on game days and it just wasn't the same anymore. I have since retired and living in the OBX now but am still ,and always will be , a rabid Packers fan. Good to see you here and love your posts.  And yes you were bvan there.

The Road to the Super Bowl is a Daily Grind.
