They need backup OL?
Not that Barclay is as good as Tretter, of course.
Another tool in the toolbox.
Hey, other 31 teams....try & figure out which way I'm going to draft!
Decent enough run blocker. Not much else to him.
Guy's best position is probably guard. Could very well be future insurance with Sitton and Lang's contracts expiring after this season.
That's my thoughts too Cuqui
In 2015 pre-season he was still favoring the knee he injured the previous year. He looked awful, and his play never got much better as the season progressed.
Maybe now with over a year of rehab he will be back to his servicable 2014 form.

Ted doesn't see the need to go for 2
Until you see the guaranteed money, it means nothing. There are 90 roster spots to fill right now and 5 preseason games to play this year. Doesn't hurt a thing to give him another chance to see if he can return to preinjury form.
Low-risk deal that could provide valuable depth if he can return to his form prior to the injury. Agree with others that guard is likely his best position and one thing we did learn last year is LT certainly isn't.
He's no Jamon Meredith.
Ted just keeping street free agents around to make his frugality shine.
Ted just setting us up to get tired of winning.
