In 2015 pre-season he was still favoring the knee he injured the previous year.  He looked awful, and his play never got much better as the season progressed.

Maybe now with over a year of rehab he will be back to his servicable 2014 form.

Until you see the guaranteed money, it means nothing.  There are 90 roster spots to fill right now and 5 preseason games to play this year.  Doesn't hurt a thing to give him another chance to see if he can return to preinjury form.

Low-risk deal that could provide valuable depth if he can return to his form prior to the injury. Agree with others that guard is likely his best position and one thing we did learn last year is LT certainly isn't.
