No need to continue the TE hand wringing. GB finally drafted the whitest white TE ever. 6'4" UDFA Kevin Rader out of Youngstown State. His 40 time is listed as "plodding".

But football people say he's "crafty in his routes", "great zone awareness", and "plucks the ball out of the air effortlessly". That's pretty white!

Sounds more like a RR clone. "Brother from a different mother"?

Like what's happening here.  Lots and lots of beef.  A couple long time starters at big conference teams on the OL.

Tyler Lancaster is going to play in the NFL.  Some talk about him switching sides to OL.  Strong fella.

Kids a refrigerator in the middle. If he gives the effort that Dean Lowry does then he will be really good depth as a lane clogger.

I think their father is Bubba Franks.

How does one draft an UDFA by the way

One of the bigger WR should learn how to at least bump DE or OLB and switch to TE.  Maybe Gibson from Minnesota Moorhead is the guy?

I hear that is what is in the cards for Michael Clark.  He is in the weight gaining phase now.  I wouldn't consider the source an insider, but he seemed sure of  it.

Not picking on you GOL but it seems that GB fans' favorite pastime is converting WR's to TE's.  It's really not that simple.  Clark was slight for a WR so I can't imagine him being able to put on enough bulk to play TE.  CFB TE's who never learned how to block DL's or OLB's usually have much difficulty trying to do it in the NFL.  I can't imagine how much harder it would be for a guy who really only played 1 year of CFB at WR.  If he pulls it off, GB found another unicorn.

No problem.  I know how difficult the transition is when I watched Bostic in TC trying to block some years ago.  And even with the frame and height, there is nothing to predict how they can retain weight.  It isn't just that easy to do.  What I didn't say is that I don't know if I believe what I was told.  There isn't anything in the news that indicates the switch.

invited UDFA DE Mack Weaver (6’4 235) to rookie minicamp tryout.. Most intriguing of the group. Eastern Illinois but he’s a Vanderbilt transfer, former 4star TE/DE... Flashes some burst/bend and hand usage. Would line up all over the place in their 3rd down pressure pkgs

You really should credit Fennell's tweet when you cut/paste the text from it.

I have a feeling the light will go on for Rollins this year.

I have a feeling the Wizard did him no favors.

He has a chance this year.

Maybe, he just looks more and more like he could be a good version of Charlie Peprah.

I'll take that. Always thought CP was a bit underrated after his shaky start in GP. Decent player. Didn't make too many mistakes and stuck his nose in there.

Sonething J. Jones (the former) and HHCD (the latter) really need to fix this year BTW.

Found on the internet: Sheehy, who went undrafted out of Wisconsin this offseason, was a key cog in the Badgers' strong defenses over the past few years, cranking out 94 tackles, six sacks and 13.5 tackles for loss over his four-year tenure there. However, he'll be challenged to earn a roster spot in Green Bay and will likely need to impress on special teams to stick around.
