Chongo had a bunker buster of a comment in the game thread.  "Love is an average QB with above average arm talent."  That's going to be really hard to get out of my head.  And will no doubt have its own thread at some point.

I'm choosing to think Love's performance this season (so far) will be similar to Favre's second season in that the league has made adjustments and Love has taken a small step backwards.  His body of work is still relatively small.

I'm not 100% convinced they beat SF if Purdy plays.

CMC fumbled and Deebo let a perfect pass go right through his hands into an INT.  Those guys aren't backups, they're two of their best players.

I agree with Nixon, injuries are an excuse.  The 2010 Packers won a Super Bowl with 15  players on IR and also lost Driver and Woodson during the game.  Next man up.

Injuries are a fact, dealing  with those that happen are the mark of a good GM, good coaching and the healthy guys stepping up.

Overcoming injuries and winning is the mark of a good organization.

The Niners were missing some very good players yesterday. Bosa and Trent Williams are huge losses. Purdy is good, but let's not pretend he's Patrick Mahomes or Josh Allen. He's more like Jared Goff. He will make you pay if you blow a coverage or give him enough time. Also, I don't think Allen lost them the game yesterday. He was fine and didn't make any critical mistakes. The interception should have caught by Samuel and Van Ness made a nice strip sack in what was already garbage time.

However, why is nobody talking about the fact that the Packers were missing a top 5 CB in football (Jaire), probably their best LB this year (E. Cooper), their first round pick on the OL (Morgan), and three other guys who were going to be rotation guys for their offensive skill positions when they started training camp (RB2- Dillon, RB3- Lloyd, and TE2- Musgrave)?

If you added Purdy to the Niners and Alexander to the Packers yesterday, the score is probably the same.

To add to your post....The Packers didn't just win on a last second FG or get lucky.

This Packer team had high confidence coming into this game. They knew they could hang with them. They not only hung with them.....

They CRUSHED the Niners.

It honestly was never close although they did let the Niners hang around longer than they should have. Don't forget, they get paid too. They don't suck but the Packers are flat out better this season.

Good, the Packers crushed them and STILL have work to do to improve their game. I'm beginning to see it...the improvement. Do you remember last year? Do you see it like I do? Do you think the Packers can improve or did they hit their ceiling yesterday?

It's going to be a fun ride to find out together. ðŸŦĄ

Bullard has been under-the-radar solid all season. Yesterday, his tackling was outstanding.

Cox putting up a nice PFF number is really encouraging given that he was decent in Chicago and this was just game 2 of his playing career.

Quay was noticeably effective in the run game and at least was in the right position to potentially pickoff a pass.

LVN made the most impactful play of his career.

If Quay and LVN could start regularly playing like the 1st round talents the Packers drafted them to be, that would be optimal.
