2. Saints vs. 7. Bears

3. Seahawks vs. 6. Rams

4. Redskins/Giants vs. 5. Bucs

If there are no upsets, Tom Brady vs. Aaron Rodgers in Lambeau Field. Best QB playoff matchup in Lambeau Field history?

If there is one upset, it means the Packers will get to face Trubisky, Goff, or Alex Smith/Daniel Jones. It would be huge not to face Brees, Wilson, or Brady in the first playoff game. I think the most likely upset is the Rams against the Seahawks. They split in the regular season.

I honestly think the Bears stand more than a punchers chance of beating the Saints. Their defense vs noodle arm Brees and maybe no Kamara? They got a chance but they need to be able to push the ball down the field a little more than they did today.

I might give the Bores a puncher's chance to beat NO, but that's about all I can give 'em. The 'Aints are pretty stout at home.
I think it will depend on if their pass rush can get enough pressure on Brees. If they can get some sacks, force bad throws, or create turnovers, the Bears defense will play strong through all 4 quarters. If they let Brees slice and dice, and/or their offense is impotent, they will fold early.
They're still pretty good vs the rush so I don't think Kamara would have another 6 TD game.

The Bears have to force Brees to throw long and throw to the outside. His arm isn't what it used to be and they can get him to make some mistakes if he has to throw long all day, plus he's never been a great scrambler. They also have to keep Kamara bottled up, and Mack and Hicks have to have a big day. Easy-peasy.

They need Roquan back in the middle to help force those throws outside.

Everyone is likely to get smoked by the Chiefs. IF we can get that far, it will come down to whether the defense can force FG attempts a few times and the offense scores almost every time they have the ball.

What's better than forcing FGs, by the Chiefs, is to force them into making turnovers! Savage, Amos, Jaire and King could make a KC-Packers game, a very long game, for KC, if Mahomes and Co. start to turn the ball over, on passing plays. Maybe KC, Gary and the Smiths can work some magic behind the LOS, too, to beat the Chiefs. If we get that far, that is.

Who cares about the Chiefs and the other 13 teams in the Big Dance.

Let them worry about the Packers.....a team that is playing real well, is pretty healthy (they have 2 weeks to get the O line up to playoff speed) and sleeping in their own beds and playing in the friendly confines of Lambeau Field.

My guess is every favorite in the NFC this weekend is peeking ahead to GB.

Well The Bears only had one play over 24 yards. The 53 yarder to Mooney in which Savage got spun around.

Why cut the chunk pass plays off at 24yds?  CHI had more pass plays >10yds than running plays >10yds and they've been running the ball well the last several weeks.  That's what I meant.  It's encouraging because our run D had taken a beating pretty much going back to last year, until last Sunday night.  As others have said, every D is going to give up scores and yards, probably more likely to the pass.  And their pass D has been solid all year, rounding the corner to very good lately with Savage's emergence.  Still room for improvement and if they can stop dropping INT's and clean up some tackling, they'll be as good or better than any secondary in the playoffs.

POS: the pieces are all there, just need to clean things up.

NEG: they seem to perpetually need to clean things up.

I am freaking so happy the NFC has to come through GB finally.  But, what I hope that the Packers do not come out flat at home.  You cannot do that in the playoffs and expect to coast to a win.  I hope the leadership on this team hammers that home the next two weeks.

One thing I really want is Brady in GB I want revenge in a big way on that team.

Some pretty interesting matchups this weekend.

If the Bears are healthy I expect they will give the Saints a fight.   New Orleans should get their big guns back as well.

The Bills got no breaks having to play the Colts.  Ravens and Titans looks to be a slugfest.

It’s been a long time since GB has hosted the divisional round w/bye.  At this point, it’s a 3 game season and they get to play at home for 2 of them.   They have as good of a chance of anyone to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.  In the AFC, I personally don’t think the Chiefs are guaranteed to be there but if they make it that far the Packers probably match up the best with them.
