Don't we usually have a prediction thread for the game?  Game day has arrived and yet no prediction thread.  Why da heck do I have to start this thread off?  What? You all scart?  Anyway, my bad vibes are gone, or maybe I am just numb to them.  I do not know, but here goes:

MM reinforces the idea that "we are nobody's underdogs" and the freakin D this time shows up for the game.  The D will get at least three TOs!  The offense will start with a heavy dose of Lacy, but the Giants will stack the box up and slow down the O, until Tolzien establishes a rhythm with the receivers and then the running game opens up.  Of course, I am totally ignoring our whoas on the oline and the fact that Tolzien ain't all that fast - it's my prediction so I can ignore whatever I want to.  Packers win, 28 -17.

Giants - 31
Packers - 17

Packers D makes Eli look like a Pro Bowler again.  Lacy shows up. Tolz continues to show that he's a capable backup to Rodgers.  But until the Packers prove they can win a game without Rodgers, I'm not going in with high expectations.

I have a hard time believing that Rodgers will be back on the field in anywhere close to the timeframe that the team suggests.

What a season!

I recommend posting intelligently, that way you always have your bases covered.

This.

In the past several meetings, the Packers applied virtually no pass rush.  And Eli torched them.  He's having a poor season, but I don't see why the Packers will win today with a banged up team, Tolzien at QB and a porous defense.  Hope I'm wrong.

31-13, Gints
