I’ve never played quarterback, not even in high school. Yet I know that if my defense is gassed, and we’re down a TD with 10 minutes left in a critical game, I start getting first downs instead of going for the home run shot.

Why do we always allow 3rd string quarterbacks to look like all pro’s?
The pattern seems to be that this team shows up for every third or fourth game. The games in-between are crap shoots.
