@ammo posted:Maybe not. The Board of Directors could ask for his resignation to put these allegations in the past .
They won’t. Money!
Exactly. If the Packers keep him on it could affect Title Town District income by people not going, Pro Shop sales, advertising sales, almost anything the Packers are involved in.
I wonder what Russ Ballz thinks about all of this?
The Titletown District isn't complete until they bring in a Bouncy House and Ball Pit!
It will be named the Ballz Pit.
Heard a lot of talk out of our dear leader during the offseason.
Been pretty quiet through the first 7 games of the regular season.
Wonder why?
I don't think Boris has been quiet at all.

He's a complicated fella.
They'll probably hire John Schneider to come back and take over, further muddling the "silos".
Of course, I have no idea what the Packers long-term plans are, but I can't see another 2 years of them putting a shitty team on the field while everyone sits around with their thumbs up their asses waiting for Murphy to retire.
If there is nothing that requires his immediate attention, he needs the 'retire or we will force you to' ultimatum.
There is ample time to have the new President on board to prepare for the NFL draft (2025) after assembling his new team, and for them to in turn make whatever necessary coaching changes for 2024 and beyond.
So, the end of this year seems to be the right time to part ways.

From your lips to God's ears.
Murphy isn’t going anywhere. As much as it sucks and he deserves to “retire” now they aren’t going to upset the apple cart at 1265 Lombardi Ave.
At 2-5, the Packers need to be thinking about draft position and how much they want to see Jordan Love play.
We should know Murphy's successor by this time next year, could even be announced at the annual Shareholders Meeting.
Good lord.....even I wouldn't have put it like that
The fact he even responded to that is admirable.
I guess the Super Bowl title under Murphy is forgotten.
The most important thing I'm unhappy with Murphy is the fact he didn't let Gutey get rid of Rodgers before 2022 season. Other than that....he's done an ok job if you look at his tenure on the whole.
Could be Gutekunst wanted to move on from Rodgers, but maybe LaFleur and Ball weren't, along with Murphy?
Murphy should troll everyone by nominating Joe Barry to be his replacement.

I think WMM has done an excellent job on the executive side with the Titletown development, stadium upgrades, representing the team at the owner's meetings, and so forth.
However, on the football side of operations, I think he's been too involved. He's definitely not a GM, coach, or scout and should've stayed the hell away from that stuff.
There's nothing wrong with accountability and having the buck stop with him, but there has been too little of that, IMO.

You mean like where all these coaches are linked and supposedly offered the DC job? When in fact it was only ONE coach who was offered the job, the one that accepted it, Jeff Hadley.
Explain to me why Gutey would draft Rodgers replacement, then want to extend Rodgers TWICE? Can you explain that?
I'm not making anything up. Those are facts. I don't make shit up.
Someday we'll find out the truth. In the meantime.....got my $1.98?
Rodgers will retire at the end of next season and be Murphy's replacement
Talk about making shit up!

That's an awful lot of words for simply saying "I don't know what happened" with the Rodgers to Denver potential trade.
I have what, two years for FJB to get another NFL job?
Easy money.
Also, his name is Hafley.

Just because you don't know..... Doesn't mean I don't know.

Auto correct changed it on me. Hafley
I know it might be shocking or hard to admit someone on this planet knows more than you about a certain subject. I assure you it happens.
Oh no, it's quite easy for me to admit that. Lots of people in the world way smarter than I am. I completely understand your use of deductive reasoning while coming to the conclusion that MM blocked the AR trade. However, that doesn't make it factual by any stretch of the imagination... which apparently is on overdrive for some of us.
I kind of like Harley. A very Wisconsin thing.

Here's some comments from our 69 year old hero before the 2022 season.
A key factor will be whether Aaron Rodgers comes back for the 2022 season. Matt, Brian, executive vice president/director of football operations Russ Ball and I are all in agreement that we want Aaron to come back.
I’m really excited for Nathaniel and think he has a chance to be an outstanding head coach. I was very pleased to see the comments he made in his press conference in Denver about how much he enjoyed his time in Green Bay and the great respect that he has for our organization.
Welp......I'm convinced....I have NFI why Gutey even drafted Love or setup a trade to Denver in 2022....NFI whatsoever. 🤷♂️
Also ....I really like how Murph the Smurf just glosses over "Matt and Brian" but makes ultra sure everyone knows Russ BallZ title.
The timing wasn't right to dump Rodgers until it was. Love took longer to get ready than they anticipated. Other teams shove their shiny, new QB out there without sitting three years, so they probably thought Love could take over in a year or at most, two, but that's not the way it worked out. Hence, the new contract for AR and having to live with his nonsense.
The most significant factor making Love's development taking longer than anticipated was that Clements was not in GB; he was with the Cards in 2019-2020 (Love was drafted in 2020), then out for a year before returning to GB in 2022. And guess when Love's play started to take off? Pay Clements whatever he wants to keep him in GB and from retiring.
