According to Football Outsiders:

Power Success: Percentage of runs on
third or fourth down, two yards or less to go, that achieved a first down or
touchdown. Also includes runs on first-and-goal or second-and-goal from the
two-yard line or closer. This is the only statistic on this page that includes
quarterbacks

GB's O line is ranked #1 with an 85% success rate.  They are ranked #10 overall as a run blocking unit.

One might speculate that all those long passes in short yardage situations has defenses back on their heels, making it easier to run.  Or maybe they should just run it more often since they are good at it.  In any event, being #1 is a good thing.

Having Eddie Lacy helps.

I think it was the Viking game when Lacy was DOA two yards in the backfield on 4th and 1 and essentially carried two guys for a 1st down.

Contrast that with Franklin getting stoned on 4th and 1 in Cincy and fumbling. Still pisses me off Meriweather put Lacy on the shelf with his knock out shot the week before.

WOW !

Pretty impressive results given all the changes that OL has gone through this year:

Swapping right and left sides - never been done before

Losing Bulaga

Losing EDS

Losing Barlcay

Lang at Center

Rookie LT !

Newhouse whiffing

Sherrod subbing at RT

Losing Rodgers

Tretter injured, GVR injured

New QB every week for a month

8-9 man boxes from the defense

Rookie RB still learning the NFL game

overly vague injury reports that drive some fans insane

Given all that, its a hell of an accomplishment.

We also saw a significant drop in the sack numbers when Rodgers was playing

(not sure if that has continued)

Kudos to the OL for persevering despite all the incredible  hurdles they faced

Continuity is supposed be critical for OL success and this crew has succeeded despite a total lack of continuity.

Impressive effort from the players and coaches and as the calender turns to Dec/January -  a strong running game bodes well for continued success

Go Packers

Mike Munchak is a very talented OL coach masquerading as the Titans HC for another couple weeks. I like the idea of having a talented, experienced OL coach and maybe he'd be worth consideration as an OL/OC coach in GB.

Trgovac is a former HC, Capers is a former HC...the offense needs some experienced coaching from outside the building.

Campen sucks.  Overcoming the coaching.  He is a cog and needed MM putting focus on the run game to see any kind of real change.  Cog.

Exactly, almost all Lacy making those -2's into 3+ yards. The guy almost never goes down either, they have to just blow the whistle to stop the play. My fear is that we are using up so much of Eddies RB clock needlessly ...

Besides what you mention above, the line has been pretty intact for the season.
