Betting lines are not designed to "call games". Betting lines are to illicit equal betting on both sides. That is why lines move. If wagering is higher on one side, the line will move to get more bets on the other side. A betting line is never to pick a winner, only to keep bets even.

Don't get your panties in a bunch because a sports book issues betting lines in May.
Thanks, Bob S! If I can convince Boris to set you up with your own forum, would you be so kind as to impart all of your gambling knowledge upon us? I'd also be curious to know whether or not to hit on two red cards, where the coin goes in the slot machine and what, if any, influence Kentucky Derby odds have on the quality of glue/taco meat the horse provides after the race.
