We've all spent a lot of time picking over what went wrong with the season and especially what went wrong sunday.  Most of us are pretty spent.

Some feel we were lucky to even be in the playoffs or to be as close to beating SF as we were.  Others, including players feel they had enough resiliency and momentum to run all the way to the Meadowlands.  Had Hyde executed that pick 6, how would GB have beaten CAR and then SEA or NO?

One philosophy is that CAR doesn't have the offense to keep up with GB and our D matched up well there.  Would we have any hope going into SEA?  Revenge?  Confidence in beating them last year?  Or would it all be on a wing and a prayer?

Getting healthy and staying that way would help immensely.

The Packers need to add more talent across the board.  While the defense is getting all the negative attention, special teams definitely took a big step backwards as far as coverage and returns were concerned.

On offense, it would help to have a TE would could stretch the field.  I think TT needs to add another WR, especially if they lose Jones.  A better backup QB wouldn't hurt either.

On defense there is no position that couldn't use an upgrade.

No questioning their heart. But championship teams have that combination of health and development. It's easy to say "we're getting this guy back and that guy back", but as we have seen with Perry, that lost season has a cost. Casey Hayward will not be as god next year as he could have been. Like Perry, he'll be a virtual rookie all over again. So many others a lot season means they have to regain lost ground and then try to get better.

It's for this reason it is time for Thompson to get veterans on the team. Sign a couple guys, few guys, maybe make a trade. Draft too, but too many rookies and too little experience.
